I do have a lot of money, but even so it would take a long time to tune all the cars for the optimum performance and then compare them to see which would be the better choice. And I only have a week or so to make my mind up :scared: .

Again, it took me less than an hour to spec up the cars.

Wow you guys are replying to messages on this thread really quickly  . Well I thought that this series was going to start between 1st-7th January 2013 but it seems you're intending to start it later then that.

 Yeah I always give around 3-4 weeks for testing periods. Calendar will be fixed and added with dates when it happens. I will add there is an error in track description, it's Cape Ring South we are racing at ;)

Is there any organised pre season tests Furi?

Jheez slow down guys I literally refreshed my browser after posting that and you have already responded to it. You must be typing at 2,000 WPM or something :) .

Anyways, you guys might have missed it since my question was on the last page, but is there any real difference to being in a racing team compared to being an independent in this racing series?

I type at 100 WPM but it seems that you guys can type a lot faster then that  .

EDIT: Also, just so I know, is there any difference between being in a team and being an independent in this racing series? Or is there no real difference?

Teams give you a team mate and you score points for a team. Independents drive for themselves. Also Independents require the black carbon bonnet if their car can fit it.

Probably a couple tests in new year 👍

Thanks for that information, but I didn't know independents have to have a carbon bonnet so thanks for that too.

And Nurb GP/D's description, and loads of ortographic mistakes all over, but still a very nice OP (forgot to mention it earlier). :sly:

There’s no difference, the independent driver races in a separate championship and in the overall points, while drivers in teams race for the teams title along with the overall

Oh the OP is really creative and original. I like the .GIF images used in the OP, gives it that special and professional touch IMO.

Alright then. So basically it's like a Driver's World Championship and a Constructors Championship in F1 👍 .

Maybe a change in aerodynamic regulations? I don't think it makes any difference TBH but it's to make the cars look the same.

Great OP Furi 👍

Would love to join for S7 ;)
Car ??
At the moment VW, Infi or Audi.

Team ??
If someone wants me as a Team-Mate if not I´ll go Independant again ;)

Colours ??
Will be decided if I have a Team or not.

€dit: Hopefully the Season starts near the End of January due to me being absent from my PS3 the last 3 weeks of January.

I went through and fixed a few errors, whats in the OP setting sheets are correct. 👍

Also, if your car has a carbon bonnet available you have to run it, just if your an independent it has to be the black one.

And welcome back Sakery

Going to be a busy season:

I'm not near my ps3 yet to check out the rides. Is there a driver limit for each car, ie 2 drivers per team/car?

No. But if your forming a team with someone you require same car, same body colours, same rims, but allowed different rims.

I might pop on, Smuffy are mics on? Going to open a room with mics now.
