Yeah, we did it fine last season. Drivers in championship place 13 downwards in lobby for 7.20pm "Heat Race" - the top 4 finishers of that race fill out the final slots and the top 12 come in after that race for the actual rounds

Fixed đź‘Ť

Also, Chqr back?

Wait what...? Sorry if I seem stupid, but does that mean that there are two separate races, one for people who are 12th and above, and one for 13th and below. Then there's one big race where everyone is racing at the same time?

Yep, everyone not in the top 12 does 1 short race, then the 4 winners of that go through into the main 3 races with the top 12 :)

It would be easier answering his question simply saying yes we have more than 16 in the championship.

That makes a little more sense, but isn't there only one winner of a race? Unless you are talking about people who finish 4th or higher will have the opportunity to race with the top 12.

EDIT:

Fixed đź‘Ť.

... :lol:

Exactly 4th or higher in the heat race to advance to the main races đź‘Ť.

Correct, the winners of that qualifying heat go into the 3 main TOCA races for points with everyone else.

Well thanks for clearing that up for me guys đź‘Ť . Looking forward to my first TOCA season but I still can't decide on which car I should choose. It would be really expensive to buy all of them, tune them to the specifications needed and test them out :ouch: .

I reckon everyone running to BMW are making a oh-so big mistake.

Is this truth or are you just saying this so that I pick something other than a BMW while everyone who is lucky enough to have one for the championship dominates and ironically end up winning the championship đź’ˇ ?

4th upwards go through. Only one race for qualification.

Oh am I really that slow?

They didn't dominate last season. :lol: I just reckon there's a a few surprises in the pack. Anyway ya free until around a week to season start to change car.

BMW is slower in straights for sure, a good 5+ mph on some tracks but on RHs it atleast made up some of that in bends.. Not too sure how it will go now the grip has increased.

But I am planning some Christmas testing maybe :) and after boxing day.

A trade off. FWD is very good and grippy with mediums and bites incredibly well. 4WD and RWD are stronger in last couple laps on some tracks due to much better tyre wear.

Pace = FWD
Endurance = RWD
Lost With No Idea What To Pick = 4WD

Actually it only costs just under 2million credits! You can get that much for doing one seasonal event, Supercar festival for example, I got 3,679,xxx for first in the GTR Black at East Valley

You keep thinking that....

I do have a lot of money, but even so it would take a long time to tune all the cars for the optimum performance and then compare them to see which would be the better choice. And I only have a week or so to make my mind up :scared: .

Why a week? I reckon this will start latter half of January, trust me there's time :).

Yeah you can earn that amount of credits quite easily :P. It's the 20 mil car series (1960s Le mans) that take some work to buy all 3 :ouch:.

As Furi says you have around a month to decide :).

I'm in for TOCA7 if that's ok...

Still undecided on car selection, and most probably going to run as an Independent...

BTW... Merry Xmas :)

Off topic but the Jaguar is available in B-Spec Indy 500, Ferrari from the Ferrari Seasonal which leaves Ford all you would need to get ;)

@Yeratel, no worries mate :)

Wow you guys are replying to messages on this thread really quickly :lol: . Well I thought that this series was going to start between 1st-7th January 2013 but it seems you're intending to start it later then that.

EDIT: Also, just so I know, is there any difference between being in a team and being an independent in this racing series? Or is there no real difference?
