I did it with the Alfa 4C Roadcar... I dont have the tune on hand right now but as far as i remember i did the racing suspention, LSD and widebody and all the aero parts, sports cpu and restrictor and i think on sports soft... Im absolutly not good in finetune a car so i think you can do it... GL
I did it time ago with Toyota Yaris High Performance, beast of a car 😂😂😂

I struggled as hell with this event and the circuit experiences for weeks. Best result was a fourth place with the Corvette ZR-1 (newer one). I was ready to give up.

Until yesterday when I realised that the R2-button on my controller was broken. 🙄
No matter how hard I pushed i was only getting the accelerator up to 70-75%...Changed the controller and now I have a lot of more credits. And gold.

Almost any car with 400-500 hp, and a working controller..., can get you a win.

Comments:

Viper is ridiculous, what a beast, monster of a car, Praiano needs to tune it, I seriously think this car can do 2:09s and 08s in more capable hands than mine. Also extremely economical. You shift when tacho bars turn red (early) and it can do 10 laps easily.

964 RS is currently my fastest car. Excellent in every way. It understeers at high speeds but it stays planted, so it isn't much of a problem.

Corvette similar to Viper, but slower. Might need a better build and tune.

Supra is a good car but needs more downforce, because standard body is already slippery, also the driving position isn't the best so it's hard not to hit the barriers in dash cam.

GT3 another favorite, the engine is very loud so it can get tiring to drive, but the car has an excellent chassis and the only reason it isn't faster is because it lacks top end at this level.

Maserati GranTurismo is incredible, very easy and smooth. I lowered wing compared to Praiano's tune to reduce understeer in high speed corners.

Subaru 22b is a good car, easy to drive, but lacks top end.

Ferrari 512BB is a car with potential, surprisingly economical so you can pit late, but unstable with default tune.

M3 E46 is similar to E92 but a bit worse because the engine is a bit lacking.

Other cars I tried:

M3 Sport Evo '89
(Sport Medium)
Alfa 4C '07 (Sport Medium)
Golf GTI '14 (Sport Medium)

M3 E30 has the handling, but no top end. Engine doesn't cut it. This car won't do well at this event. It can win, though.

Alfa same as M3, but engine is turbo so maybe adding ballast + power fixes the underpower problem.

Golf is fast but chews through its front tires and you get tons of understeer when worn. Not intended for 600PP IMO. You can run and maybe even win in it though.

Ending note, I could be running the Tomahawk but trying all these cars is so much more fun that I don't mind the slower credits.
Hi, you have a setup for this car?
Thank You

Some of the best cars for this event is the WRX Gr B road car and the Corvette and Mustang GT3 road car. They already have a lot of the good stuff when you buy them so they handles great right out of the box. Some tweaks then it is a easy win.

I used a Mazda Atenza Gr. 3 (I think; the 4WD one).

Really easy to drive, especially in the rain, and you don't need to pit.

But my problem was that once the NSX pitted, I overtook him - but a lap later, he overtook me, and I could not catch up.

Second place is my best effort; once we get on the straights, the NSX murders me!

I was unsuccessful with the TM edition Evo. What transmission settings did you use? I wasn't able to get under 600pp and have good speed on the main straight. Thanks,

For the Evo VI TM edition, I’m using custom manual trans set to 320kpm. I’m able to hit 190mph on the straight without drafting.

Everyone should try the Alpine A220. I just did this race a few minutes ago--1st place with my total time at 27:59.xxx. I installed the Medium RPM turbo with power restrictor and programmable ECU, lowered the aero to 100/100 and ran SS tires, everything else stock. It goes the whole race without pitting and on FM1. With the aero set low, it increased top speed and increased fuel mileage. Other that short shifting and coasting before the first and last turns, I just blasted through the whole event.

Might be the easiest car I've found other than the Tomahawk, but I suck at driving that thing, so it wasn't exactly "easy" lol.

The WRX GrB rally car works too. It’s faster. I’ve never found a tune for it anywhere, but I was able to make it good just lowering the suspension and doing some diff tweaks.

Hi guys, any suggestions to complete this track?? I tried lots of car with 600pp setting, even the tune posted here, but it’s so tough, can’t win, only 2nd..550k reward🤤🤤
Ferrari 330 with sport hard tyres and no pitstop, easy win

Since the update to allow gearbox tuning without changing PP, this race can be completed with just about all of Praiano’s 600pp tunes.

Banter Garages 99 WRX is also a great choice. Either of Praiano’s NSX or GT-R’s are easy wins too.

My fastest lap

Like everyone else just trying different cars to mix it up and make it more challenging. I made a classic mini with a k20c engine swap which although you do have to pit once for tyres and fuel it was a blast. Keeps you on your toes in the wet! Fastest lap time was 2.09 too

The Corvette handles like crap. A properly tuned RX-7 will smoke it and actually stay on the road.
I grabbed an '02 RX-7 by mistake. I hate Mazdas in real life but would be willing to try one with a Wankel engine. Anyway, one evening I spun a 26B on an engine ticket. Knowing exactly what that engine is and how few were built, I saved it for just the right car: that RX-7.
PP was unchanged from 1.19 to 1.20. I have the 26B installed in the RX-7, ride height is minimum on front and rear. Gear ratios are set to redline around 253 MPH (bye, GM!) on the full customization manual transmission. Limited slip is on default settings for fully customized, the car has a wing and front aero parts. I used either the normal or medium RPM turbo. The biggest thing is tires: This beast will obliterate rear tires. I have Comfort Hard in front and Sports Hard in the back. Brake balance needs to be at -5 to take some load off the rear tires. You will not be able to fit this combo in the pits, so do NOT pit early! (I no stopped it on 1.19.)
I'd have to look at the car for the rest of the settings. Most of the suspension is stock on the racing kit except ride height and camber. There's a bit of negative camber to help stay on the turns, somewhere between 1.2 and 1.6. Toe in is 0.0. I do know that I didn't bother with camshaft, bore, and stroke upgrades. :D You can tweak the downforce to your liking, just keep in mind more downforce means faster tire wear.
I added body rigidity and all the weight reductions.
In any case, if the Corvette is "an absolute rocket" on the straights, that makes this car a precision guided missile. It's still light enough on the back to get knocked around, but it stays ramrod straight when it's supposed to. It only has five gears, so getting them just right is more difficult than the Corvette.
Then there's the biggest issue... getting the 26B to begin with. If you do, though, you have another option for Tokyo and probably the Le Mans 700, the Spa 800, and the Sardegna 800. You don't argue with 989HP, you just mash the gas... and steer.
I need to try the Diablo on it. I also aim to use the sucker car (2J) when that comes up for sale or if I can get gold on enough missions.

I don't know how anyone is winning this now, with the crazy new penalties. I've tried 6 times and given up all 6. Just now, I brushed the wall, barely heard a noise and did not feel it, but of course the car became difficult to keep in a straight line. Then the AI hit me, the engine lost power, another AI hit me into the car in front and I got a 5 second penalty.

GT should be fun. This is not.

The porsche is one of the best cars to drive that i've tried one here. Without even wall riding. The supra is so hard to drive but I did a sub 25 min race.

My recommendation is Mercedes AMG GT S '15

Fit: Wide body, aero parts, adjustable suspension, adjustable lsd, adjustable computer, brake controller, chassis rigidity.

Front aero 100, rear 270

Brake controller -2

Tune your suspension & lsd to suit your style

Run at 100% power on FM1 and Sport Hards

The Viper GTS '13 can also bet set up similarly and performs almost identically to the Merc

I actually managed to win AND get the clean race bonus using and Alfa Giulia GTAm '20 which I bought and tuned to 600pp just for this race.
Without any weight reduction (and with standard suspension and brakes) it still handles beautifully (on sports hards).
