Tokyo Gameshow 2013 - Question Thread

Please explain the whole customization system.

Michael Grassi is the Head of Motorsport Sales and Technical Support at KW Automotive GmbH, a manufacturer of high end suspension systems that will feature in Gran Turismo 6. Grassi talked about the company’s philosophy - they don’t just sell a product, they sell a support service for that product - and how this will be translated into the game. Players will be able to fine tune their suspension systems (as you’d expect from this series) with the company’s “7-post” test environment, allowing players to test tweak and re-test their car’s systems to get it just right before heading out to race. Clearly, the level of collaboration between Polyphony and automotive manufacturers goes a lot deeper than just licensing deals.

Sounds nice!

Not sure that pic really means anything for GT6, but its nice to see the 7 post test in a visual example (assuming that's what it is)

Intresting... But I was more talking about... yeah right... liveries and bodykits... But it is nice to hear this since I love to tune the suspension in GT5:dopey:👍

I can't wait to get my hands on that!👍

We know there are going to be Standard, Upgraded Standard and Premium cars:

Will all the Standard and Upgraded Standard cars have flickering headlights ? And working horns on all non-racing cars ?

Will all the Standard cars be updated via patch to Upgraded Standards ?

Will the Standard and Upgraded Standard cars have the same physics as the Premium cars ? If not, is there going to be an update for this ?

About 10 hours still to go until the conference :nervous:

Hopefully we get to know more about customization and see some more cars and Bathurst 👍

If Barthust is 7th track, PD will wait around 13 october for an announcement.

I think....
