Tokyo Gameshow 2013 - Question Thread

I would like to know how the new physics are going to be reflected in vehicle tuning. Are we going to finally have individual camber/caster/toe adjustments, inside/middle/outside tire pressure readings with adjustments, and telemetry data so that we can have validation to setup changes.

The latest trailer wasn't from TGS and was only called Vision GT, pretty much the same shown at Gamescom. Which makes me believe we'll have a new, proper, trailer next week.

I just hope it isn't in Japanese.

So thats all the tracks.I was hoping Bathurst would make it.New tracks are Rhonda,Matterhorn, Brandshatch, Silverstone,Apricot Hill Raceway,Willow Springs, and Goodwood Hill Climb.Though, Rhonda will probably count as a crap load of tracks since its a course creator location.
It's supposed to be 7 new tracks/locations to the series, so Apricot Hill doesn't figure into it, but you can replace it with Bathurst - we DO know they're modeling it and are waiting to officially announce it.

Ronda is a editor track. It does not count 37 tracks total
In the context in which it was used, it sounded like Kaz included Ronda as a location. We'll have to see how/if they'll be counting variations of it.

I hope so.But i'm going off what was said at the event.

When did he say new to the series? If thats the case, hopefully Bathurst gets announced at TGS.

Gran Turismo 6 Revealed: Trailer
The UK’s famous Silverstone Circuit will be just one of seven new locations in Gran Turismo 6, taking the total to 33, with 71 different layouts available, 19 of them brand new. There will also be regular additions of new tracks set to be made available online.

33 Locations and 71 layouts will be provided from day1 (7 more locations and 19 more layouts than GT5).
At the 15th Anniversary event, we found out about Brands Hatch1 before it was announced, we knew about Bathurst2, and Silverstone3 was confirmed. Then came Willow Springs4, Matterhorn5, Goodwood Hill Climb6 (with Kaz confirming that they're modeling the rally course, but unsure if it will be there at launch) and now it seems that Kaz is counting Ronda7 as a new location while being a "Course Maker" layout (so it's two for the price of One?, but then that begs the question if Andalucia will be named in the list of Course Maker locations instead of Ronda); I'm not sure we all could have agreed on counting Ronda as a new location before then, but altogether, that'll be 7...for now.

At the press conference yesterday, the number of tracks/locations "confirmed" to be in GT6 went up from 33 at the time of the Anniversary event to 37, and variations went up from 71 to 76. At the time of the event, we didn't know that the Top Gear Test Track is the only location/variation to not be returning.

Tracks that aren't new to the series, but we know are, or should be, coming would include Apricot Hill and Seattle8 with Apricot Hill being confirmed and both being shown in the NSX Concept trailer that came out earlier this year. With that said, it should read, "34 locations will be provided from day1". And with the removal of the TGTT, it should now read, "8 more locations than GT5," since we can now figure in Ronda to be a location from yesterday's conference and if Bathurst9 comes (which it really should be).

Things have changed now that it's announced/"confirmed" that there's going to be 37 locations and if the number sticks with no other surprises, like "no more Top Gear," also, if there isn't a rise in locations with it being less than three months before the game releases. There still needs to be three more locations announced.

With everything I just said being taken into account, I've realized it really doesn't matter anymore if the "7 new locations" meant that there's going to be 7 tracks that are new to the series. Yesterday, Kaz's presentation showed a slide of Apricot Hill and shown at the bottom were 37, 76. It was strangely translated that there will be "37 scenes?, 76 layouts?".

Before anyone wonders, "how has Ronda been confirmed as a location?", the translator mentions that there will be more locations to come through DLC and doesn't mention anything about a Course Maker when they show Ronda right after so very strangely translating the 37 tracks, 76 locations bit.

In the end, 7 locations have been officially confirmed (with Ronda), but there has also been 4 more locations announced/"confirmed" regarding the total than what was previously known with that "33" figure. Apricot Hill is the only location to be confirmed that isn't new to the series, and yet, we know they're waiting to announce Bathurst as a location and it's new to the GT series. Sorry for this waste of a post. :D

Well, 37 tracks + monthly DLC containing one single track = a month and 3 years of DLC. The numbers of Vision GT cars are also increasing slowly and it could possibly also be one Vision GT car per DLC, as there are now currently 23 designers involved in the project.

Livery Editor
When asked (in somewhat broken English) if players will be able to customize cars with their own “photos”, “beyond just colors”, in GT6, Kazunori confirmed this is “something they are working on right now,” and mentions that more information on the feature will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show (September 19th).

Kazunori wisely tempers expectations, however, noting that he “does not think a full livery editor be available”.

TGS planning :

18th: pre-TGS SCEJA press conference.
19th : TGS opening keynote "The World PS4 Creates" & Sony TGS stage event
21st : Sony TGS stage event
22nd : Sony TGS stage event

Will there be a simple livery editor?
Are more race mods or touring cars available?
This

and this:
-Will there be an Event Creator for Offline?
-Can you make Arcade Mode AI (with the agression slider and faster pace) available in GT mode as an option?

Ronda does not count 37 tracks total 👍

We still have one track to complete list

Maybe I overlooked something but on this website are 35 tracks (30 carried over from GT5 and 5 new, Ronda and other themes from the course creator don't count).

So we have still two spots left for Bathurst and Seattle.

Edit: There are 36 tracks. I overlooked Silverstone;)

How will Kaz be at both the Film festival in America and make it in time for TGS :odd:

There's no mention of when he'll be appearing at TGS, but he definitely is going to be present day one of the JFF. Poor guy... he might miss Rush!

The schedule for Sony conferences at TGS and GT6 seems to be last. There are livestream links in the link for those who want to watch just make sure of the time in your timezone. So it seems Kaz might make it in time but only 20 minutes seem to be scheduled for the presentation.
