Tokyo Gameshow 2013 - Question Thread

Umm. Guys? Would you really want Kaz to show anything new yet?

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!
I'll take a taste now and a bit more later please. :)
Just one single new car on a slide would have helped. Just seems odd they had him show up to pretty much say nothing and ran a trailer that has been on YouTube for quite some time.
Kind of one of those why bother things.

lol. It be awesome if Kaz did show some new cars at least, I agree. :)

What? did I miss something?

It was in the SCEJA Conference trailer when Kaz showed up! They edited the Gamescom trailer and added Lexus in the brands participating in Vision GT and we had a close up look at the R18 and the premium Stratos!

Forget about showing additional content like cars and tracks. Anything not included in the original release can easily be added. To me, a 'big' reveal would be updated information on how the underlying game itself plays - elements like the AI, the ability to create custom racing series. How is off-line A-spec mode handled i.e. the actual nuts and bolts of the gameplay design. There has been virtually zero details that has been shared so far regarding these topics.

The scene at Autumn Ring they showed it to be longer than the Concept trailer, but I don't think there was anything new besides the "37 tracks, 76 variations" thing. Some(one) on here said that Bathurst would be DLC, but...

The trailer starts right before the 45 minute mark if anyone wants to watch it

wow... I didn't noticed that the apricot hill cycle scene had the moon, until they showed the whole thing all over the screen

Is it possible to implement into the replay system some simple film filters (black and white, sepia, noise, etc.) and slow motion/fast motion? Just some simple tools to create replay highlight reels. This would be great considering the video upload features.

I have made a screenshot of the TGS video. This screenshot shows the lobby screen.

You can see, that PD has added some buttons at the bottom. A track map with the car positions is added, but you can't see, who is the point, so this is a little bit useless. The driver table shows the driver name and his car permanently. There are 16 rows in this table, so there are max. 16 cars on track again.

If the TGS demo's sound and AI still same 🤬 like gamescom, do you guys still believe the miracle will happen on final product?

Yea, but unfortunately, there was only a review of what was already known. One thing that's news (I think) is that there will be 37 tracks (including Ronda, I believe he said) and 76 variations.

Oh, and a PS3 250 GB bundle (which I'm not sure will be available worldwide).
So thats all the tracks.I was hoping Bathurst would make it.New tracks are Rhonda,Matterhorn, Brandshatch, Silverstone,Apricot Hill Raceway,Willow Springs, and Goodwood Hill Climb.Though, Rhonda will probably count as a crap load of tracks since its a course creator location.

I don't expect anything from GT6 besides new cars and tracks and maybe better menus.

To be honest, I don't really care. New cars, tracks, course maker and a new online system is what I'm really looking more forward to.

Nice to see some interesting questions in this thread, hopefully it's possible for some GTPlaneteer to ask Kaz some of these questions during TGS 2013 ?!

Antoher question from me:

Dear Kaz, it's well known you like fantasy-tracks. Wouldn't be great to ogranize a design competition for GT-fans to design their own track and the prize would be that Polyphony digital will work it out in full detail for GT7 or DLC ?

Ronda is a editor track. It does not count 37 tracks total
