Who thinks 4 weeks is too much time for a time trial?
I mean, this starts to become down to, who have more time avaiable to do countless laps...
It would be interesting if they say limited to a 4 day qualifying slot with qualifying window announced a long time before so if anyone is serious about it will make sure to give it a go. I think current formula is better though as gives people outside qualifying slots on the intial few days more time to learn to get faster and work way up the leaderboards. You are correct in what you are saying, but it's a time of year where people want to take a break & go on holiday. However, perhaps PD could create a time limit, such as only being able to drive the circuit for a number of hours/days/laps etc
They could do it on two specified weekends to maximise chance of people taking part but I prefer it like it is as it gives more people the chance to compete. If you work full time your gonna benefit from a longer competition. How can every top player in the world take 4 days off work at a certain time of the year is not practical work may be busy and they won't let you take a holiday
4 weeks is perfect:tup:
