I am hoping that after my lunch break I can "shake it up" and break into the top 8. I've been pretty quiet(SLOW) to date, but made big strides @ Eifel by "slowing down to go faster." I was having too busy of hands for my own good there and losing SO much time it is embarassing. Going to start back up @ Indy and see if I can get with .5 of the leaders time and then go back to Eifel(as I still think that is the make/break it track). Feeling inspired due to fixing my broken G27 !!!!!!! :)
 
Here's my guesses:

West - 3:57.100
Southeast - 3:57.500
Midwest - 3:57.400
Northeast - 3:57.000

I'm basing this on how much the cutoff has moved each day. Here's the standings for each region and (I logged the times between 12:00AM and 1:00AM each night)

the bubble is down to 57.2
I've already accepted defeat... though I'd like to get into club 357 tomorrow and hopefully finish in the round2 prize pool.

It looks like you got a shot (based on your Indy time) but why havent you put a time in at Eifel yet? What are you waiting for?
 
yeah fix your already in the 3:56s, as close as its gonna get, that should make you safe in the top 8. i gotta lose half a second in 10 hours >.<

I'm going to be pissed if any of the big names dont go to FL, I can't wait to meet them.

Funny thing is, there is 8 big names guys near the top, then a gap and some more. at least the ones at around top 8 have to make it :(

I am 1/2 second faster than what I thought the cutoff would be 2 days ago. This is un bleeping real!

As of right now, probably not for long though, I am 10th in the country. 32 move on but 10th ain't safe. 👎

8th in the NE is .212, force is just behind him in 9th at .340.

BTW, I'm not quitting unless I get a 16.5 at Eifel :)
 
TRC_Hunk is out of the Top 8 right now, S_Diem is still out of the top 8, Forced I think is on the bubble, there are going to be a few people that thought they were going that aren't going to make it.

yeah including myself, unless i pull some rediculous lap on eifel, its just not gonna happen :ouch:

Thanks man, I'm not so sure though....I feel like everyone is creeping up fast and I'm hundreds of miles away from my rig. If I don't make it I'll know I gave it my all with a full time job, a family, and one day less than everyone else.

6.5 more hours of hell, to make it worse my cell reception will be going soon. :(

I dont know :odd: . 💡 Im getting the feeling at 11:30 your going to see him pop into the top 5. Why would you not post a time if you know you have a good shot at going to Orlando. There is allot on the line. It sounds crazy to me that he can be fast enough but not even bother posting a full time.

I know what your up to THA-Ghoast!! Your going to crush the guy in 8th that is thinking he made it at 11:30pm. Thats pretty ruthless.

Just joking.. I dont know if you will or not. Maybe you dont want a shot at being a real race driver.
 
Just got back to the condo after a ridiculously epic day of skiing - South Lake Tahoe has gotten 100"+ of snow over the last week or so, and there's almost nothing better in this world than knee (or waist) deep powder when it's 40 and sunny...

And I'm surprised that the cutoff in the Northeast hasn't budged. Things have gotten tighter with just over 5 hundredths separating 4th-7th, but 8th is still at .212 and 9th hasn't moved.

Less than 5 hours left - I'm watching for Force to make some moves, and hopefully not too many guys breaking into the .9's...Eers, you are fine JUST where you are right now ;)

EDIT - right as I post this, 3wide shaves hundredths off at Eifel to move right ahead of me :grumpy: Currently in 5th, with 4h 44m left and 3 spots to give...:nervous:

Wheel malfunctioning, lost Force feedback today around 3pm. Prior to that, did 2 laps 2'16.8 red lapped, 3 more 2'16.9 red lapped/going wide last corner and was feeling good on the way to putting one in clean. Since then however, I have been way off the pace and struggling with inconsistency, helpless to do anything and not understanding why, and just realized that my force feedback is gone when cornering/braking doing everything, just gives me slight feedback when I go over rumble strips...it's like the sensitivity is on 0 (yes I checked it.) This is why I'm struggling. I really can't believe this is happening. If I can't fix the problem, I'm going to call my brother and have him bring his wheel. I've been gutted all day, freaking out, and now I realize what's happened. I'll be running hot laps until 11:59, and hopefully will get the new wheel here in the next 45 minutes.

This is like a bad dream.
