TopGear car pack

I had often wished for a van to be added, but never expected it to happen. This pack is pretty neat, especially the two 90s JDM cars. Gives that Gran Turismo vibe.

I think this is definatly the best car pack yet, and not just because of the awesome variety of cars in it, also because we weren't even really expecting a May DLC! May is going to be the best month ever for me (in chronological order): first of May this Top Gear car pack DLC, then me and my wife are having a baby sometime mid May, then late May we get the Beetle (or Porsche, same difference) DLC!

If only we could get some new tracks! So many great cars in the game, but the tracks are all so boring by now!

Pretty yawn pack, imo, which is unfortunate. I have no doubt the Venom requires the entire pack, so I'll pick up the 300C SRT8 & save my MS Points for the Porsche pack.

This pack is awesome. The Pacer will be fun as the Lotus will be a welcome edition. My muscle cars don't perform well on every track so hopefully those two will fill the gap. Transit Van is welcome cause it'd be awesome to try and corner it like an Elise!

Actually, this is my favorite pack so far. Can't wait. Now I need to get internet reconnected so I can race again.

I think the best car of this pack is the Supervan 4. I wasn't even aware Ford had built another Supervan until now. But we just need the rest of the Supervans:

And the real SV4:

The Original concept: Take the 400bhp, mid-mounted engine and chassis from a Ford GT40 and slap a Ford Transit van over it.

Supervan 2 had a fiberglass body, the chassis from a C100 Group C car and a Cosworth engine.

Supervan 3 had a Cosworth V6, fiberglass body.

The Supervan 4 or "SuperSportVan" has 200bhp and pulls out 347lb-ft of torque.

Man, I wonder how some of the people would take it if they happen to include a Reliant Robin?

I submitted it as a request for GT5 on GTPlanet a long time ago. I actually want one, just for humor's sake. I also requested the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust.

Can't say I'm excited for this pack, but it's still solid, the Cortina and the 3000 will be my main focus probably.

Will have to go buy some MS points.

I also requested the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust.

Only if we can recreate the "crash test".

Seeing as this is the first car pack not included in the Season Pass, I will be skipping everything except the Legacy and maybe the Austin-Healey. The Legacy is a real pleasant surprise, though. :)

You know you can just buy a second season pass and get the next 6 DLC's, right? Excluding the Porsche Expansion, of course.

Shouden -- I missed that part of the announcement. Even so, I don't expect to be playing much of FM4 in six months. At the very least I'll do what I did last time and wait until a few packs have been released before deciding if they're worth it.

No, wait...I'm sorry, I thought Microsoft did something clever for once. I would have thought the smart thing would be to allow people to simply buy a couple Season Passes and download all the DLC. But...as with a LOT of Microsoft Products: Season Pass is apparently, an oxymoron. It's more like a Half-Season Pass. Or like buying something that says "Full Season Pass" and finding out half way through the season that you got gipped.

Whatever. My bad. I was wrong. I can't even make the "I guess they need to make money somehow" because DLC doesn't really make Turn 10 a lot of money. It might make Microsoft a lot of money, but, certainly not Turn 10. So...I guess Microsoft had to get Forza 4 players to fork out a small fortune in MS Points somehow...besides with the Porsche Expansion. (BTW, yeah, that also just "randomly" comes out the month AFTER the "Season" Pass expires. Sure, you'd still have to pay the 1200MSP, but at least you wouldn't have the extra 560MSP for the May DLC pack....I think I'll wait to get FM4 until the standard Platinum Hits Edition comes out with all the DLC content included. It'll save me a butt load of money.)

I feel sorry for the people who can't appreciate the awesomeness of this DLC.

Very excited:
1977 AMC Pacer X
1966 Lotus Cortina
1965 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk. III

Excited:
1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4
2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan
2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8
1990 Subaru Legacy RS
2012 Smart ForTwo

Mildly excited:
2012 Hennessey Venom GT

As always, the quirky and the classic have the greatest appeal to me. The hypersupercars mostly make me yawn.

The Transit really has got my mind working overtime for liveries and fun races. Would be great to enter a race series with all the entrants painted as delivery vans.

I will get to drive something like what I drive on a daily basis in FM4. :D Need to get a RM livery on it.

A good pack from my point of view, looking forward to pretty much everything in the list, even the Smart Fourtwo:

However the Lotus Cortina, Transit, VR-4 and AH are the highlights for me. This and the Porsche pack are going to make for a good May for me.
