TopGear car pack

For me, it's ok, worth the M$, but I am waiting for Porsche pack. Maybe down the road when this pack is discounted I'll take it.

I think the best car of this pack is the Supervan 4. I wasn't even aware Ford had built another Supervan until now. But we just need the rest of the Supervans:

SV3:

And the real SV4:

The Original concept: Take the 400bhp, mid-mounted engine and chassis from a Ford GT40 and slap a Ford Transit van over it.

Supervan 2 had a fiberglass body, the chassis from a C100 Group C car and a Cosworth engine.

Supervan 3 had a Cosworth V6, fiberglass body.

The Supervan 4 or "SuperSportVan" has 200bhp and pulls out 347lb-ft of torque.

Not forgetting this one:

I really like the new car pack I like doing up odd and simple cars to me it makes tuning
much more interesting
I will love doing a crazy paint job on the supervan

Very odd but cool car pack. 90's JDM always welcome in my book. Lotus and Austin are great additions. The Jeep just brings me back to my childhood riding around in my uncles, that thing was bouncy as all hell. Bring on the Mirth Mobile!

This is okay, I guess. The only cars I'm interested in are the Legacy and Galant.

CLK63 Black Series Coupe
2012 GT-R
Maserati MC Stradale
New V8 Bentley
Fisker Karma
KTM X Bow
Audi R8 GT
Ferrari F12

Most of those cars were in the latest Top Gear season, Top Gear car pack had so much potential you really have to laugh at what ended up in there. Hopefully these cars end up a new Stigs car garage pack. If I don't end up winning a code I'll buy the Venom separately. Anyways, is it May 22nd yet?

This pack is following the spirit of Top Gear very closely, though. Seeing stuff like a Pacer alongside the Venom is very Top Gear-ish. They should've taken the first Super Van, though, that thing is outright epic

Anyways, I'm gonna skip this pack despite the fact that I actually like the cars T100 included. But Diablo III is launching on May 15th, so there's absolutely no play time legt for Forza

No, wait...I'm sorry, I thought Microsoft did something clever for once. I would have thought the smart thing would be to allow people to simply buy a couple Season Passes and download all the DLC. But...as with a LOT of Microsoft Products: Season Pass is apparently, an oxymoron. It's more like a Half-Season Pass. Or like buying something that says "Full Season Pass" and finding out half way through the season that you got gipped.

Seriously? You were told the season pass covers 6 DLC's, but now you feel you are getting half a product? If god says the season of summer is two months humans will always find a way to complain they're not getting enough sun for time spent living during the entire year.

If there were a season pass 2, chances are you would be getting ripped off because, it either wouldn't include the porsche pack, or if it did, it wouldn't cover the 'probable' final six months of DLC.

A good pack from my point of view, looking forward to pretty much everything in the list, even the Smart Fourtwo:

Scaff

Anyway, I'm with him.

Especially looking forward to the smart fourtwo, finally something quirky I like that may compete with the lower class leaderboard cars. Not to mention the British classics. Hopefully the links made with the specialist Ford transit UK team gained Turn 10 access to the original Supervans for future additions.

I think this pack is very TopGear, almost everything in it is eccentric, much like the program itself these days. You can link most of the cars to the show or the cast if you try hard enough.

Bless the heavens  Great pack love all the cars. Gonna have fun with that Van and first thing i will do is do some hotlaps on the ring with it:lol: The Smart will be great.

The lotus and the Mitsubishi will be fun. The Wrangler is awesome too have in game, i wonder what kits it has. The AMC Sha wing!

The Venom....aaah The Venom finally..:D

Yeah I think the Gremlin is the cooler of the two AMC oddities...mainly cause of this:

I suppose though they put in the Pacer because they wanted to see people make the Mirthmobile livery for it. Sucks it's only the I6 version, also sucks the I6 can't be swapped into the Jeep, making it retro.

If they had to include a fast van, I wish they had included the Renault Espace F1 instead of the slowest of the Ford Transit Supervans:

The Espace F1 is cool and it would sound great on Forza but for some reason I prefer the Supervan 3, probably because it was my favourite vehicle in the game 'blur', I think it too used to have an F1 engine in it but got replaced by the 3.0 V6 which it has now.

I grew up with my dad rebuilding British cars (working on his 3rd TR6 now), So I will be rocking the Healey.

wish he kept his MGB GT

Pretty awesome pack. Transit, omgwant. But, odd how they called it 'Top Gear' pack, when not one car in this pack resembles anything I'd believe TG would choose or want...

In all honesty I don't think any of the packs relate to the cars in them, other than the American Muscle car pack.

That's not fully true. Top Gear is also an automotive magazine and they've done a lot of articles on some of these cars. Also the TGUK show had Sabine Smitz do a Nurburgring lap in a Ford Transit diesel after some trash talking against Jezza for how slow he was in a Jaguar. Many of the cars I do agree don't really sound like they are very 'Top Gear'-ish with respect to any of the TG shows. Looking at some of the other packs, like the ALMS pack they only had 2 endurance race cars in that entire pack of 10. So it's not 100% a TG pack but something they called the TG pack with cool and wonky cars that are in lines with what TG would do. To be honest, the Ford Raptor would have been a perfect car for this if they replaced it with the Jeep Wrangler.

My bigger problem is we have yet ANOTHER off road type of vehicle... without any off road courses. :dunce:

It seems odd that the Austin-Healey hasn't been shown in an official pic yet. I'd like to see what a rendered version of it looks like. I guess I'll have to wait until Tuesday.

Liking the fact they have the two tone, hopefully they have the black with red option.
