Great! By coincidence it turned out at 345HP, which is one of the HP limits I've seen a few times for the seasonal time trials, so I'm glad to see that you might find use for it after the event here is finished. :)

Sorry to hear about your PS, ug. :( Hope you can get it repaired or replaced soon.

As for my daily update on car sending, Onboy/girl/thingy :D got a copy last night and I think I am down to the last few drivers. Rinberu (sorry, can't remember who you are on GTP) will be next and still waiting on Shadow to accept the FR. If anyone not a driver would like a copy of it for online purposes shoot me a FR and let me know. Happy to give them out. :sly:

Thanks. I'm waiting on a box from SONY at the moment. I'll be exchanging my fat for a Slim. (I'm on my Second PS3 - Slim will be third, So I've had enough of fats dying on me).
 
I still have to run in one Lotus Elisa and one lotus Evora.

Should be able to get lap times for the the R34 skyline and the other lotus' tonight.

3:48.184 Digital's Audi TT... I think I can do better. This car, I think the second gear is too short, better to stay in third more often for this car!
 
I know Cactus, Timber and Savage have my car. Who out of the testers still need my R32? the deadline is in 6 days for testers.

Also shadowsports hasnt accepted my FR are they still testing ? same question for supermelon (psn- rinberu)
 
ACS' Impreza did an impressive time:
3:44.173

The feeling of driving a 4WD is competely different, and this Impreza is really a touge monster. I didn't feel that I've driven it to it's fullest potential but it still clocked the second fastest time to date. I'm used to driving MR cars on the touge so I'm not that comfortable on other drivetrains.

Wow, this car understeers!!! But it's fun, the short gear ratios makes the car feels like a rally car! but I'm not used to the understeer so I have to polish up my skill set to handle these type of cars!

Probably I have burned the front tyres actually!! at mid corner, I feel that the car is understeering. haha... I think it could also be the nature of the drive train, cause I'm used to slight oversteer as I drive MR cars most of the time.

My lap with the Lancia was a slow time but I loved driving it.
Once I get some time to myself I'll be doing a little review on each car. I think this in my favourite to drive so far.

If I recall, C-ZETA normally has his steering sensitivity bumped all the way up for the DS3. That could be the difference.

Yes I do. I use 7 Sensitivity for all my cars now along with no TCS/ASM/anything but ABS.

I'm gonna give the other cars a go later tonight I think. Got my prep done for the next shootout so some relax time is in order before that busyness starts. :D
 
After being a test driver, it is fun. Especially now I have some 500PP touge machines in my garage for LotS.

What tyres are your Roadster 450PP going to be running on?

SH or SM...I'll flip a coin when I actually write up the post. :embarrassed: SH would obviously be a bit more challenging but maybe having something a little more relaxing after these last couple tough events would be nice. I've tested on both and it is fun both ways. :)

got through a few more time trial laps last night.

VTiRoj - NSX-R = 3:51.301
Ugabugaz - Elise 111R = 3:49.067
JackThaLad - NSX-R = 3:51.650
SolidSnake - GT-R = 3:51.466


Really not loving the MR drive train on this track. Spending far too much time sliding the car and not enough time getting the power down.

Having Tyre wear on is killing me. I get 2 laps to put a good time in then the tryes aren't good enough any more and I have to start again.

Need to clarify on some of the setups.

The Tesla by MrGrado calls for full weight reduction which I have done, but the weight is now at 1064kg and the weight listed by MrGrado is 1100kg and no ballast is used.

Secondly the R32 (already broken in) from Bigberry already has 370hp with the listed parts installed. If I follow the listed power limiter of 97.9%, the PP will drop below 500. :dunce:

Loved the GT-R mate. I'm not great on MR cars I tend to do a little too much drifting for it to be a fast time, or I go the other way trying not to drift then I'm just too cautious and slow.
The 4WD drive train suits my aggressive driving style.

Nice, the car has a lot of potential to be unleashed. This is, by the way, an update of the GT-R you reviewed for me a while back. feel free to do a follow-up review whenever you have the time to update it on the page since the settings have changed vastly from the last 👍

I'll be trying to do a writ up of my whole TOSS testing process.
with a write up on each car. Could take a whiles to get it done but I'll get there.

Last few times.
Praiano - Lotus Evora = 3:47.596
Krenkme - lotus Elise = 3:48.689
Rotary Junkie - Lotus Evora = 3:50.304

and I'm done.

This testing process was a much bigger task than I though it was going to be.

before I started I really didn't realise just how big an affect tyre wear was going to have and how quickly some cars would chew through their tyres.

The best cars for tyre wear were the lotus's the 2 evoras were good for 4 fast laps and the elise's good for 3 most of the other cars had destroyed their tyres after 2 hard laps. in fact the Lancia although I still say it was my favorite car, I only managed one fast lap after a steady but not too slow out lap and one fast lap I saw my lap times drop by about 3 then 5 seconds on laps 2 and 3. this made hard work getting teh best time I could having to pit in every other fast lap.

But the whole process was a lot of fun. and I now have 13 great cars in my garage.

I'll run them all again round deep forest, as it's my favorite track and I'll turn tyre ware off. Then I'll do a write up in my thread.

Cool, there's also a new NSX-R tune for sports hard, im sure you'd enjoy driving that one ;)
