Hmm.
My mom's. 2008 Ford Focus, 2003 Dodge SX2.0, 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0t, 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8, 1995 Toyota Camary, 1998 Toyota Corolla...

All of those have less road noise then the 2014 Toyota Corolla S, also the sunroof screams above 80km/h, so you can't use it on the highway.
As a (former) owner of a 2014 Corolla S, I would disagree with some of the cars here... I don't think a GenCoupe has better sound insulation than the Corolla.

Also apparently has "rail dust" on the doors...
Couldn't you just wash that off?

The steering, brakes and accelerator all feel unresponsive to a terrifying extent.
Disagree again... I found all of the main components of the 'Rolla to be pretty responsive. I could've gotten a Sentra SR, but I chose the Corolla instead, namely because it felt better in my hands.

The traction control is absolutely worthless. I should not have superior traction and control in a 348 HP, RWD sports car with all-seasons on in the snow, slush and ice then the 132 HP, FWD car with brand new winter tires.
Corollas aren't supposed to be performance cars...

It's fuel economy is also worse then the 154 hp Dodge Neon.
They're about on par.

It's just a absolutely horrible car. I preferred the little Kia Rio service loaner.
Well, whatever floats your boat...

@bremics analysis of the Corolla lines up pretty well with Car and Driver's review of the 2014:
"In addition to feeling old and flimsy, the Corolla feels tired"
"It’s a good thing the Corolla’s stability control is fully defeatable, because when it intervenes, it does so with all the subtlety of a paint shaker missing a couple of springs"
"low-cost transport emulating top-tier Japanese goods."
"overall structure feels floppy"
"the engine came under fire for its coarseness, both at idle and wide-open throttle"

They did note that it had the best in test fuel economy and handled well, but overall they were very disappointed and it finished last out of 5 cars in its segment.

This would go well here sold in competition with the Hyundai I40, make it diesel only so we can have the option for some diesels from Toyota for non commercial cars for a first time.

Even though the Avensis was sold here as a minivan, when the Avensis came out in BTCC, I wondered why it wasn't in the lineup down here.

That was the Verso, Verso being the minivan version of what ever car.

In UK they have had the Yaris and Corolla Verso as well.

Wasn't this car a wagon in Japan? I saw the name of it in the Japanese website and the car that popped up was a mid(?)size station wagon. Might check again.

Far fetched as it may seem, the Avensis is available as both a saloon and estate.
