The two modern P1's we have, the R18 and TS030 (even though the Toyota is a P1-H the PP system doesn't appear to incorporate the hybrid, as it doesn't with the power specs) are between around 630 and 615PP. The real, 2014 GT500's are catching at the heels of those, so a similar PP bracket makes sense.

So Felix, how about a rough estimate of 2014 GT500 specs? I agree this FT-1 gives a huge GT500 vibe, especially the wing.

1077kg minimum weight and unrestricted, just over 500hp. Around 520 on GT6 after oil change maybe?

2011+LMP-1s punch at about 520HP. I'd say it's indeed a valid PP estimate for the new FT-1.

Now I just want the Graphite Version and Shooting Brake Sport Dynamic version.

The MR rule is redundant once more, so since Lexus aren't running an MR, that can't happen.

I expect Lexus to stay on until at least 2017/2018, or until they've saturated the market. Or until Toyota get a Supra out. So if the Supra's like this, maybe.

Firstly, they banned MR cars, so they had to go to something FR.

Secondly, the big three are the lifeblood of GT500, and they couldn't lose one. Since the HSV was in development as a road car already put got pulled last-minute, they granted them special permission.

The only difference is the rear splitter is pointing upwards than reverse like the sketch. The rest is spot on.

I did a quick overlay of the original sketch and the new VGT pictures in photoshop. Except for the rear diffuser, it is absolutely spot on.
I don't think it really looks like the FT86.

When v1.13 (when I suspect these cars will come) rolls around, I'll be getting rid of my existing white FT-1 and replacing it with the Graphite version.

And of course, the VGT.
