@R1600Turbo @DelboyD @Adam Barber @RacingGrandpa @MaxAttack @PaoloMX @GOTMAXPOWER @Pigems @GT5Apex @Tea_Leaves @Granadier @GTP_Guido @Drex124 @NoStopN

48hr roll call.

@Michelin Man there's a chance that @Granadier won't make the race due to injury, if you fancy running the NSX again?

Wont be able to make it this week. Busy trying to recover from you know what. Shame - after the last round I was really looking forward to it. Should be back for the next round though. I might check out a live stream if one is up. Should be a great race.

No worries man. Hope you're back to normal soon!

@Michelin Man you're definitely in.

@Timm Sheehan, do you want Granadier's grid spot, if his injury doesn't let him race?

Yeah that Lexus needs an intake restrictor STAT. :lol: I was in his slipstream and he was still pulling away...

First race wasn't terrible, screwed the start by being in the wrong gear but quickly made up the spots I lost. And that was about it, settled into second and couldn't do anything with the big V8 car in front of me.

Second race, REALLY ugly. Between the start, the damn chicane penalties that I tried to burn off by coasting into corners, and some overly aggressive drivers, I essentially gave up once I got tapped into Ascari with a few laps to go and got a penalty for it. (thanks PD) The fact that every driver had at least one penalty is evidence of how that race went. :P

Really hoping the next round is a bit cleaner...

Monza always leads to aggressive racing, in my experience. Probably not helped when half the lobby are Brits who've been raised watching BTCC.

Thank you @El_Beardo for hosting the race.

WORST RACE EVER - apparently I just bought the game 1 hour before the race and said lets try this racing out because I missed nearly every braking point, every turn (yes EVERY turn), and did not even recognize my own driving. I am bad but tonight was the worst of it. In race 2 L10 I botched T4 so bad I parked it in the sand and waited for the field to lap me before continuing on.

On a good note - the GR.4 Corvette is an awesome drive but just not tonight.

Congratulations to @GOTMAXPOWER for your wins!

I chose to drive from the bonnet on this one because today's practice from the cockpit was odd with that rear spoiler blocking a good portion of the view. It just wasn't ready for online racing.

Much more practice is definitely needed. Enjoy your racing!

TPC Race News - GT4 International

Round 2 of the tour took the TPC circus to the temple of speed and TPC News' Timmy Threewide again caught up with semi-mythic Scandiwegian rally driver Max Attack after what proved a tough outing for the whole Honda team.

Thankfully cigarette-less today, Max was uncorking a €65 bottle of Barolo in the Honda team trailers as he recounted the day's action.

"Well," He said, taking hearty swigs from the Italian red, to the tuts of a confusingly nearby sommelier, "we knew we were in for a mugging, and a mugging is what we got."

"It is always frustrating to come to a track you are confident at and the car cannot compete so well but really today I feel for @Pigems as our hopes were on him to maybe grab some surprise points here but the gods of Monza really had it in for our number one."

"We had the reserve team to try and bump us along in race two but we really felt the lack of power this weekend and the rest of the calendar should suit us more."

Max scans his beaten Honda, bearing the scars of a scrappy weekend of racing. "I raced very hard so I can be happy with myself but to be honest once I'm through a glass or two of the red stuff I'm straight to see that beardy chief steward about them bloody Corvettes".

The plucky Scandiwegian had a stellar lap one in the first race but overall this will be a weekend to forget for the Honda team.

TPC International GT returns from the mountains of Austria next time out - and should the heavens open as early reports suggest, this could promise another topsy turvy race in this unpredictable series.

Max Attack was last seen speeding towards the Alps in a Lancia Delta Integrale.
