Yeah, the Lexus probably needs readjusting, it has a lot of power but weighs too much, I think it is the worst car to drive on the whole grid, especially when you factor in tyre wear. Next round with all the ballast (I guess I'm leading now?) it's going to handle like a shopping trolley with a couple of busted wheels.Yeah that Lexus needs an intake restrictor STAT. I was in his slipstream and he was still pulling away...
I think there was a bit more contact this race than last time but nothing malicious or too serious. The 2nd chicane was a mess for the first few laps, I got pushed into a reset on lap 2 by one of the McLaren's and had a couple of nudges from Kermit's Jag later on but I've raced him enough to know it's nothing malicious. I like the sportsmanship you get in these league races, the Hyundai accidentally ran me off the road at Ascari so slowed down to let me pass on the pit exit, you wouldn't get that in the FIA or dailies where everybody is in it for the win .Monza always leads to aggressive racing, in my experience. Probably not helped when half the lobby are Brits who've been raised watching BTCC.
The end of the race was great, the Lexus and Corvette were the best cars this race and @El_Beardo put up a really good fight for the win, I think it was 1 tenth at the line. The next few rounds are going to be a bloodbath for this car, with the reverse grids we should see pack racing similar to that at Brands Hatch.
