You can use my track layout creator to draw tracks on the GT6 course maker sceneries and export them in the correct format (.TED format): https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/course-maker-toolbox.352281/#post-11706459 (you need Python 3.6 or higher to run the application).

To load these files into the game I think you need a modded console though, and I'm not sure how to do that. Perhaps there are other forum members who can help with that.

ok thank , i have done!

now for import to ps3 gt6 , i must export in ted file? thanks so much

Yes, the .TED file is the format that the game game uses to read course maker tracks. In the application you go to File -> Export to TED.

How to import that file into GT6 is not something I know how to do though. Back in the days when we still had the online services we uploaded them to the game that way (same method that the official course maker app used).

yes I understand, by chance do you know if there is a forum where it explains how to import?

I don't have a modded PS3 console but I have a question @eran0004 , does it worked in PS3 Emulator (RPCS 3) ?

PS: At least you managed to revive that feature with the use of that tool of yours. It's a God send for me.

If you can find a way to import the .TED files into the game then it should work just fine.

As @eran0004 said, it should work if you manage to import the files correctly. However GT6 on RPCS3 is not very stable above update 1.05 (IIRC). It's not stable below that to be honest, but it's really not stable above it.

But the question is where is the path for the game. Maybe theadmiester knows it because he and some other person made the gt6 spec 2 mod which includes the custom tracks.

I'm not sure which path you are asking for, but the path to your GT6 install if you are using RPCS3 will depends where you installed RPCS3.

From your RPCS3 folder you go to Dev_hdd0 then game and you'll see a folder matching the serial of whiever version of the game you have installed. Inside that is the USDIR folder and the PDIPFS folder is inside that one.

That's where all the packed data is stored and you will need to unpack it to edit anything. The path to the PDIFS folder for the Spec II mod is wherever you download it to, and you can upack that directly or copy it into the games install and then upack from there.

I'm talking about where to put the .TED file.

Once you unpack the PDIPFS folder there is a sub folder quite literally called ted, with a sub-folder called gt6, they go in their. I don't know if you need to do more to make a track work, but that's where all of the .ted files for the added track editor tracks from Spec II are located.

It won't work with v1.05 of GT6 though, that version doesn't include the track editor, you need a version updated to the point the track editor was introduced.

I literally couldn't find that file. Or maybe I just overlooked it. Lemme check.

Double check, but make sure your version of GT6 is updated, if it's not v1.22 it might not be their. I can't recall the exact version it was introduced, but it's not in v1.05 or earlier. Make sure you are unpacking the PDIPFS folder of the updated game, if you are looking to alter the Spec II mod, then install that first and then unpack. You can always just unpack the Spec II PDIFS folder seprately, that might be easier actually as it omits a lot of the files you don't need to touch.

Nope, couldn't find a folder called ted. I had to make those myself.

And it was updated hence why the spec 2 mod worked.

If you have Spec II installed the folder would definitely be there, ignore the renamed PDIPFS folder, but this is what should be there.

But you are unpacking the PDIPFS folder on a PC or Mac I pres
But you are unpacking the PDIPFS folder on a PC or Mac I presume?
Yee
Oh and also I am on actual hardware.
But you are unpacking the PDIPFS folder on a PC or Mac I presume?
Yes, but it still hasn't said anything about a ted folder.

But you are unpacking the PDIPFS folder on a PC or Mac I presume?
Yes, but the folder didn't show up there. I checked on my phone aswell and no, it wasn't there.

Yes, but the folders weren't there aswell. But the tracks still appeared in the game.
