Another issue I have been running into the last week or so is running out of fuel. Sometimes without changing anything on the car I end up running short on a race I ran several times already. Once I was 2 laps short at Spa. I am not sure what's going on there.
If fuel consumption is on in a race, go into the tuning menu and look at the fuel after you have completed a couple of warmup/practice laps. If you do more than one lap, it'll give you an estimate of the number of laps your fuel load will carry you. Stock is 30 litres and in a lot of cars it doesn't take you far. I've run races of 35 laps where I had to carry 80 litres of fuel. You can adjust the fuel load in that menu and it'll give you an estimated number of laps until you run out of fuel. What I do is add about 2 laps worth of fuel more than the calculation just to be safe, then save it as a separate tune so I can access it quickly if need be.

I've blown the engine on the Miura. It is a bit delicate, I think.

OK, off topic a bit, but where did you get your particular Muira? Is it an "offically endorsed" car for the game? Have you come across add-on tracks and cars that contain viruses or are harmful to the game or your computer? I'm new to all this

I found the Miura on the official forums here. I only get 3rd party content I find on the official forums because I don't want any ripped content. But that's just me.

Thanks, I was thinking I'd begin with the Official Forums for the same reasons. I see the Muira in there, I'll give it a try....👍

RaceDepartment is a good place to get them too, they do their best to keep ripped mods out and people quickly report anything that is shadily ripped from another game. Though, occasionally one slips through the cracks.

Yes, but what I mean is races I have previously ran with the default setup where fine, sometimes though that same setup isn't enough fuel. An example is the ALOG room at spa with the Ruf, I always use the default setup. Three times though I have came up short finishing, once by 2 laps, without changing anything.
