transfer licences???

I was wondering if it's possible to start over on the races without losing your licences? I'm a first time user and made some stupid mistakes on buying and selling cars. But I do have all the licences, as fas as I understood the only option is to delete your savegame or buy a new mem card, which means you loose all your licences. Or am I wrong ( I hope so)

Nope you're right. Just sell all yer cars, buy a new one, tune it, win races, win cars, buy more cars, tune 'em.

With GT2 I often sold all my cars coz I was bored. I had like 80 cars, sold them and was able to buy 3 new ones and fully tune them with the money i got from my other ones.
