Oi. why'd they move the thread, after it having been in the same place for about a year?

Anyway, I knew scouts would come in handy - as soon as I get them, I get scouted...

And version 2 of my Travian program. This one has a proper combat simulator. And by proper, I mean, it even displays survivors, total troops attacking/defending and off/def points . (extracted size: 416Kb)

Quick question, with a hypothetical example:

I scout someone for resources, and it tells me they have 300, 300, 300, 300.

Are those numbers total resources (including what's in the cranny), or just what is not in the cranny?

For example, if I attack them, am I guaranteed 300, 300, 300, 300, or could I still get nothing?

I'm just wondering if the scouting figures can see into crannies or not.

What did you think of the off/def/total troops/next attack (which sets the def survivors as the actual defending unit, for multiple attacks on one army) features? Useful?

Probably about a year, but nobody knows exactly... probably not even the owner....

Ehm first of all, it of course depends on the server. Some might end in a few days, but the s1 won't end before let's say March 2007. The WW are the beginning of the end ( at least in the old rounds ), with about a month to go.

Do you want troops, Sharky? I can make them really fast now because I've been upgrading my barracks a lot. Are you being attacked by cavalry or infantry?

Right - who's attacking me and what with:

Trappist (from the village Chimay) - ~100 Imperian, 4 Caesaris
dreams (from the village Lithuania@LT-K) - ~400 Axes, also has at least 100 TKs
Kristus (from the village 2.Arkitiness) - ~400 clubs (why not Axes?), 80 TKs, 1 hero

dreams might be ceasing attacks on me, here's hoping.

(Crop: 133 per hour, if you send reinf.)

Well, at least my (now dead... ) Praet hero with 4 pts in def and 1 pt in regen has reached level 1, so when I get the res to revive him and train more defenders, I should have a better defence

I can send you troops, but those are pretty serious armies they're sending, so it'll be difficult to do some real damage. I'll get some praets and legs trained up tonight and send them your way in the morning.

Well, if you can persuade some other people to help you out then we can co-ordinate a proper defence to do some real damage. I'm still quite a small village (368 pop.), so that's about as much as I can afford to give you at a time. My alliance is fighting some pretty tricky players so I have to put effort into that as well.

I'm sure some of the bigger players around here (dbartucci, Famine, Neon, etc) can help you out as well.
