So I've been away from GT5 for over a year and I decided to brush up on my skills a bit for the GT academy. I don't think i have what it takes to win but it will be fun to compete I think.

Anyway to practice I've been running 370z around Trial Mountain.

New from Dealership
Comfort Medium Tires
Full Aero Kit - 20 Rear
Oil Change
Ballast - 93kg +50(all the way rearward)

And that is it.

Max power - 348HP
Max. Torque - 282ft-lb
Weight - 1623kg
PP - 474
Power to weight - 4.59 kg/HP

Challenge is fastest around Trial Mountain

You can set ballast and aero however you like but try to keep power to weight and PP the same. Comfort Medium Only.

So far my Fastest time is 1:51.305

I think I can do a 1:50.0xx but we will see.

Also I use a Driving Force GT. But anyone is welcome.

Anyway thanks guys can't wait to see some times. I'm probably pretty slow but this should be fun I think.

I played around with this for a little. You can definitely feel the 1623kg! My fastest time was 1'45.549 with no aids except ABS at 1 and grip reduction at real. I can upload a video of the lap if you want.

Wow that's awesome! No need to post the lap I believe you!

I got down to a 1:49.561

I can see all my mistakes and know I can go a lot faster but it's hard for me to tie it all together in one lap.

That's good progress 👍. I know how you feel haha. You get a nice sector and then blow it in the next. It's very frustrating at times.
