If someone enters a time wrong, can’t they just enter a “new”(correct) time and it will get overwritten automatically? 🤔

Edit: Looks like it just doubles up if you enter 2 times. This was my FL and spec sheet for tonight, in the ‘14 TTS Coupe. :)

So, you want me to delete the fastest one. Right?

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this thread by a chance and since I love Time Trialling I had to give this one a go.

However, I just wanna ask couple questions to clarify the restrictions.

Custom LSD - does it include one-way/two-way LSD?
Custom manual/racing gearbox - so only close ratio transmission is allowed. Am I right?
Since there is no mention of racing suspension, is this one allowed?

Thanks in advance for answers and good luck on track.

My ride to try out is Swift '17, got 4.1 so far with still some spare PP. Wanna see how quick it can be, and hopefully I find the way to fine-tune it to the best of my abilities.

1 way, and two way diffs are allowed.
Stock or close ratio boxes only.
Racing suspension allowed.

Good luck.

4WD seems to be the way to go, from things I've seen in our Discord chat. But, I'm currently looking at a 1:02.8xx optimal in the old VW Golf. So, 2WD can certainly give decent times, too.

Literally wasted so much of my life trying to get some rear wheel drive cars up there jeez I need to do uni work
Same. I’ve been doing hours of laps with my little roadster. Got it a couple of 1:04.6 laps but didn’t save figuring I should be able to do better. The car feels better now after stiffening it up but my lap times are only getting worse

So the Swift is pretty good ride, so far. Got it to 1:03.05, so close now, with no green sector in that lap, which resulted into 2.8 optimal time, that'd be 3rd on the provisional board.

Here's my actual setup:

And here the session record:

Any advice with the suspension would be appreciated, as this is just a random mess so far ^^

I would try taking the camber to about 1.4 or so on the front

Holy moly you must be slow down the straight with only 175hp

I have the roadster a go with a rx7 engine but it was fairly useless. Good luck!

Thanks, will give it a try.

On the other hand, have only 839 kg weight. But it feels a bit sluggish, not gonna lie. Have to check the speed, but it is somewhere around 180 km/h area on the sector point. 155-6 on finish line.

Sorry I've not checked in the last couple days. Been testing for spec race I'll be hosting.

I'll tidy the spreadsheet up tomorrow.

man, there was me chasing my tail over a 1.02.40.. and now the goalpost has moved by over a second! time to jump on the 4wd train i think! super impressive.

Do we reckon its only worth having each persons best time on the leader board, to keep it a little tidier?

Finally got under 1:03, but still feel like I can cut some more time off.

Raised the front camber to 1.4, added low range turbo and fiddled with power, weight and different parts, to achieve 2.7this time I'm pretty close to optimsl, so not much room left I think.

Really enjoying driving and tuning this Cooper S, do have a big soft-spot for R53's I must admit. Optimal says there's still a tenth left, and the lap itself wasn't quite perfect so I'm sure there's time still to find. Sub 1:02.6 should be possible if I clean the lap up just in itself. Pretty happy with the setup for now, but I'll still tweak and test a few things and see if there's an improvement to be found.

Wasn't enjoying GT7 with my wheel much but had a bit of fun on this:

Didn't buy any adjustable parts aside from aero stuff.

Well I just tried this since I had the car sitting around and had to know. Ran a 1.9 after about 10 minutes with a 1.6 optimal. What the hell lol

Not so sure about how well PP values translate across different drivetrains.

My latest run made me thinking about attacking 1:02 mark.

So, I totally messed up my previous setup and had to come up with new one, so I decided to buy out all remaining allowed parts and try to make a good fit. And I managed to improve my previous time by .2s to actual 1:02.339.

Never thought this little japanese devil would be so good at actual racing.

Update: new time on the board - 1:02.156 with optimal of 1:02.002.

PS: hope the board spamming isn't too annoying, but I just fear of losing the track of data saved (until PD adds back some of the analytical data from after the sessions).

What are peoples preferred method on reducing PP? ballast, restricting power via ecu, downforce? would like to know if people are starting to spot trends as to the best way to do it.
