Agreed, I have had thoughts of having to cash in my gear for a pc setup to get a sensible circuit racer in VR. GTS could be a really great experience with a little refinement, skill level adjustment, seat adjustment, choice of laps and these are just simple implementations. Additional AI opponents would be ideal, even if more were only available on the Pro.

It really needs looking at.

The VR on GT Sport is not comparable to PC. I am not holding my breath that it will change this generation.

I'm keeping my GTS PSVR expectations limited to:-
  • I'll expect "immersion" but not "photorealism"
  • I'll expect an experience subset, not the full game
  • I won't have to pay extra for PSVR support in GTS
  • I'll hope for expansions in the PSVR experience over time, but won't "expect" them
  • I'll use PSVR for Dirt Rally, Apollo 11, Skyrim, Fallout 4 and maybe some others
I'll probably be happy with the result. (I'm waiting for the PSVR which does "HDR pass through")

I'm doing the same thing. There's over 100 games for PSVR and GTS isn't the only game i play

Make sure you put Resident Evil 7 on the list. Its playable entirely in VR and is amazing. its the best non-racing VR game I have ever played. I have both the PSVR and the Oculus Rift and many VR games.
I already have it on my list. my friends have that game but no VR sadly
