I been driving in GT series since the first one came out since I was 10. The first I ever heard of the word drift was that mysterious question of what kinda settings you wanted in an arcade race, lol. Then about a year ago a friend introduce me to Initial D, and I was like "well thats great! whats the real thing look like?" so I started kinda getting into real drifting a bit, not to mention I naturally fell in love with the AE86 (dont believe me? I bought one!).
I decided to give it a try a few days ago when I came across this site and found some decent settings. I used the settings I found as a basis to create my own. Here's a short vid (its only like 13 seconds cuz of the time limit on my digital camera). Its not really the best I can do, just something I did with the cam cuz I was bored, but I thought I'd post it up to see what you guys think. I'm sure this is total newb stuff to most of u. I've been trying to focus on using the natural inertia of the car to keep it sideways around the track without having to use the brake. You'll see I actually messed up in this vid when entering the 3rd corner, I allowed the car to re-gain grip and had to use the brakes and gass to break it free again, I usually dont do that on this series of corners, its usually all inertia-based. O well, win some u lose some.
Soooo, comments, suggestions, tips, do's donts etc? This was all done on an analog controller. my wheel doesnt come for another 2 weeks I'm afraid.
