All of these are great ideas. I just wont agree that ghosting is any better than going on time.

Though instead of having a tree controlled by a host if had one....why not just install a automatic light tree at ss7 and indy. PD could install it on an update or dlc download.

A tree that constantly goes yellow,yellow,yellow, green.

And when lining up yall just decide which upcoming yellow,yellow, yellow,green to go on.

Tree with yellows and if you jump it goes red just like nhra then the whole room knows you jumped but if your cars a little slower but you get good light you can still win

To the op of this thread.

Any real PRO you come up against will run either way. If you leave the line equally then its an even launch and the rest is down to your gearing.

Now I have the Joy of getting tree'd all of the time when I run most people from the states and countries far from me in the UK. Yes launching on time is a hassle but if you want to know who has the fastest tune you will do it.

From what I've seen since I've been around the drag scene is that people want an even launch because they want to evolve their tunes. There is far to much complaining going on around here. Get back to tuning your cars and have some fun after all this is a game.

All i gave was my opinion. I didnt tell yall to not tree. If i was to beat all the top tuners, i still wouldnt consider myself good without a official system.

I lost to them because i used lower hp cars or had just basic tunes so i really dont know how i would still stack up with an equal car.

They both are better tuners but i would never know how close iam to them without a official system

Not to mention iam not used to and hate ghost.

In regards to my idea earlier, when you exit the pits, the game automatically decides which lane your in, almost completely eliminating trolls. The only thing they can do is not go when the countdown is over.

Ummmmm nooooo. I am new to 1/4 drags and dont really use cars that they use to drag, like the r34 and cuda, and other muscl cars they use.

So i tryed out a r32 standard car and it didnt win, and ptk told me nobody use those cars in 1/4 drags

Since i dont kno how to tune for 1/4, i try putting some basic stuff on it and it didnt work.

Ive tryed learning 1/4 tuning but its just too complicated.

Atleast i know i can tune for ss7 and hang with those top guys. I got blown out at indy but later went back and fourth with dongroovian34 and ctsoldier.

Ss7 where my home is. Lol

Exactly what I've been saying. But this guy doesn't want a tree, he wants a system like Forze has where they hold both cars and release them at the same time. I see that as an aid like traction control and frankly would take a lot out of drag racing and would not be as much fun for me.

You are complaining like the release is everything that will decide the outcome. You still have to shift afterwards and do your thing.

We all want an official system, but that includes a "pro tree" so that means that we are still responsible for our reaction.

How about a more sophisticated tree system then. For example; launching too early causes foul runs, so you still get to work on your reaction times and such.
