trying to play online causes crashing???

i picked up this game last week... finally today a friend of mine also picked it up.... was very keen to get in and have a race.... only thing was whenever he joined my room... about 15 seconds later my ps3 would hang


this happened twice....... next he hosted a room.... same thing happened.

Any ideas why??? could it be becuase its not out here officially till the end of the month. (in aus by the way)

any info would be great.... cheers

Online play is very unstable with this game, almost non-functional. It seems they (system 3) have solved this problem with a patch that will be released next saturday. You'll just have to wait, I guess.

Yep happens to most online games, as a way round for the next week, host a game with one of the "other" Ferraris and send invites to friends only........this should work fine. The problems mostly occure when someone joins in a game which has already started, so just make it hard for people to find, say hosting a game with F40's

there was only 2 of us trying to play.

guess ill have to wait for the patch... kinda sux... but what can ya do
