i had hoped to have some fun and make some new contacts and friends but so far all i have for my efforts is a bunch of bull from moaning busy bodies...enjoy your drifting...ive not once said anything bad or derogatory about tandem drifters yet some of you just have no respect or common decency...if i could delete this thread i would because its just not worth the effort of trawling thro the off topic bull you muppets put on here when it has F all to do with you so have fun and to the haters i say kiss my diff and choke on my smoke cause this drifters going back to where he belongs....sideways down the track.

Ugggggh best is like 28,xxx I want 30k + so bad. I have no idea how to drift better than I already am. Time to build a speed 12 and vantage drifter it seems

If you really want more points, try comfort hards fronts and comfort softs rear, works best for points, if you disbelieve me check out the seasonal drift events thats what they all use.

The physics are a bit different between on- and offline, so I use comfort hard's on the rear for drift mode. (Speed 12)

I set a 35,908 a few months back, but can't come close to it anymore I've got no internet atm, so I'll give it another go..

scy i tried my stock aem s2000 ... my only adjustment was to set the rear downforce to 20 but everything else was default settings as you bought it ....comf hard tires front and rear...with a score of 23,134....i think with a few dozen more laps i could hit 24 maybe 25k but i would need 2 start tuning it for above 25k

Completly stock (except hards) AEM s200 and I hit 23,589 on my third try, tandem drifters ain't so bad eh? Just shows we're every bit as good if we want to be, but we choose not to.
The first two would have been higher than 23K as well but on the second last corner it went back to zero because the game thought I had ''spun out'' even though the car was still in perfect control...

It is very funny seeing so many comments on here about weather or not you should drift for points or not. Well i do and im dam good at it. So you wont change the way we drift and with the attitude from some people perhaps if you have nothing constructive to write dont join in. Its about getting a good score nothing else !! Simples

I have respect for Jordan, (The owner of this website) hence why I am trying to inform you of the rules that you should adorn by when you are posting on this forum. So as A matter of fact, you are the one showing disrespect. I would ask if you can quote me saying you can't drift for points or that I don't think you should even post about it? All I am trying to do is to inform you of the rules and give you tips on how to get better use of this forum, you are the one who has turned this into A mess, hence why I reported several posts. I think you should go and read the GTPlanet AUP and then start posting again when you have done.

Ps3dan i never said i was the best and i dont expect anyone to drift in any perticular way.what i did TRY to do was ask ignorant people to back off and allow the 5% of players who do points drifting to do it in peace.5% being what our wealth of information all knowing drifterzz had said in his 1st post.

oh and btw if your gonna be doing tandem practice in a public online lobby please say so in the headlines so that when your going BACKWARDS down the track the rest of the room has some warning before they waste their time joining only to find arogant lil kids going the wrong way all the time...

There is already a thread concerning this. Furthermore, the speed 12 is NOT the dominant drift car, it is the most dominant POINTS DRIFTER which around 95% of regulars won't do. Most people around here drift in online lobbies perfecting tandem skills within teams, not perfecting how many points can be had using an overpowered car on sports grade tyres.
And even furthermore, don't double post or else i'll get the DP police involved.

Why are you so fixated on tandem drifters. I mentioned it as an example and now apparently its a label.
The only reason people have come down hard on you isn't because you drift for points, its because you stated in the OP that the speed12 is the dominant drift car in GT5 which it isn't.
