-_- Now someone just needs to start talking about tyres. GTP drift forum 👍

Not all people go online looking for "proper" drifters, as you call them. Many people play GT5 to have fun. And if they lap Tsukuba all day long, it's obviously fun for them. It's called casual gaming, where being a "n00b" doesn't matter. There is nothing stopping proper drifters from contacting other proper drifters to create proper lobbys for only proper drifters where you can drift properly.

Exactly. I'm not good at drifting but I'm not bad at it but tsukuba is fun. I always have a good conversation in the room and I love the crowded atmosphere and beginners messing up on the last corner. No other track gives me that same atmosphere. I don't even tandem unless someone wants me to. Just love drifting there.

Drifting's not all about the difficulty!

You can drift in an open flat area and enjoy it, the same as you can scrape the Ebisu wall and enjoy it.

A track is a track, a drift is a drift, however the two get about matching up.

+1. I do enjoy challenging myself, but, if I had a drift car, and an open parking lot, I'd show off to the ladies.

im going to put my 2 cents in .. as someone who runs that track all the time i will say that yes 98 percent of the people that run that track are what you call noobs..they all wanna get in front of you to "show off`or whatever lol . but i am one of those guys who runs tandem lines as much as i can , and personaly love that track for that as its small and because i run with alot of different people as i scout all the time everyone knows it .. so if im keeping a eye on perspective talet i first wanna know if they can drift that track ..also when this game first came out we had a perfect crew and im attached to the track .. but when we were learning it was autum ring mini every night ..i dont see the point in moving to another track until u know the main one like the back of your hand ..its also litteraly a clasic track for drift..but nobody says you have to drift that track ..you could just avoid it ..wouldent that of been easier then implying we are noobs if we choose to drift that track

I just tried out a Tsukuba drifting session. Everyone (6+ people) were tandem drifting, so I joined in. After that, some 🤬 in a BMW M3 drove right through me! :scared: People whose connections are that bad are legit n00bs, because that's the first decent thing you need to drift in GT5. If you're so n00by that your car hops like it's running over logs every five seconds, while driving on smooth track, and you drive right through someone, you're a horrible drifter. 👎

Conversation closed? Anyways, I think I'll start up my own drift rooms now, for people who like REAL tracks.

EDIT: Found a room at Trial Mountain.

Yes but, how bout you join a tsukuba room run by us

i agree a decent connection is certainly key .. as for a real track .. thats a personal preference

I see you online now. I actually tried to join; "Room No Longer Available."

Oh well.

I'm really in need of some good tandem runs on CH tires. The one at Trial Mountain was full of speed-demons who got little angle.

I know. I'm just telling everyone else, just in case there's a team looking for a German-Canadian. :sly:

However, I can't find that lobby. :(

Room was full, makes sense.
