TT Isle of Man 2 is Coming to Consoles and PC in Q1 2020

Preview hands on on wccftech site, March 19th release date.
Seems promising, with more complete career, maybe akin to wrc8, not sure, and many courses, even an open map too:

I popped the first one back in last night and raced a couple time trials. Turning felt odd at first but I got used to it. Touching the brakes put me into a tumble but I think my controller was set up wrong. It is a good fun game.

I always want a great bike game, but somehow they are always a bit meh, they don't seem to have the sense of power of a bike, or the sound....

I bought the first one straight away, then sold it 2 days later.... Recently bought it back as it was cheap, but hmmmmm still not sure, got the ride games aswell, hmmm again.....

Needs to be a demo for this one i think....

Tourist trophy on ps2 is brilliant though...

Yeah I know the feeling - they're generally disappointing. But you should try Ride 3 - physics and bike sounds are actually decent - well, most bike sounds.

Looked good, played crap. Not a fan of milestone games but this made their stuff look like Rfactor 2.

Isle of Man TT isn't a Milestone game.

You know I feel that on one hand, the physics in IoMTT feel more nuanced and unforgiving than Ride 3, on the other, I feel that the turning is very odd. The bikes turn and change direction like cars instead of bikes. Is it just me, or do TT bikes behave like that IRL? You barely lean and the bike starts to steer and change direction. It's weird.

I hope they can have proper lean and turn physics in IoMTT2 - I saw a gameplay 30-min something gameplay preview and the bikes still look funny when leaning and turning. In fact, in chase view the bike's rear tire seems to be swinging left and right like a pendulum with leaning, rather than the tire staying fixed and the bike and rider leaning. Really weird! :odd::rolleyes:

Also don't know why they didn't have a 60 fps option for the more powerful consoles. Feature like that in a bike racing game should be *standard* on the PS4 Pro/One-X.

Milestone at least, get the movement of bike right, here's second Team VVV video.

Not too convinced, would need a playable demo to be sure.
I hope they add gyroscope support on ds4 to steer, so its less sensitive twitchy. Even wheels..
Edit: it be really cool if they added a rally cars dlc for the isle of man course to this, or the track to their rally games wrc.

Agreed. It doesn’t look right in 3rd person, especially with Alan’s inputs not being smooth enough. However, it still manages to appear miles better than the first game. I doubt that they’ll ever really get the physics right though but I’ll gladly take this over whatever the first game had going on.

This is the PC development version running at an unlocked frame rate mostly 60fps. We'll show console footage when available.
VVV is it, easier to see, in the new game, were you are going, or that just 60fps in video.

Hoping the ps4 pro is 60 frames per second like ride 3 is..... @VVV Mars VG

No idea but I doubt it. Their graphics tech is still very much a work in progress. They are catching up with Milestone and Codemasters but it'll be another 5 years at this rate. Let's face it, Milestone released a whole stack of bike games before getting to 60fps, this is Kylotonn's second attempt. Hopefully next gen will be a leveller.

Yeah, the movement and leaning look so strange. Not convincing at all.

First game was fun, not sure if I'll get this, unless it pops up on games with Gold or GP.

Still looks 30 frames to me on that video....hmmmm bummer

Oh, I'm skipping this entirely if its 30 fps again on One-X.

When i saw you put base yesterday, i thought you meant the base ps4, as i put the ps4 pro down...ha

Also, oh my god what an idiot i am, ive had the first game for ages and ages, i always thought you can`t rotate the camera around the bike, just found you can by changing controller options...
