Race was fun last night. Disappointed I couldn’t keep up and the spin out I had was nail in my coffin. Hopefully tonight’s race on gr4 wed will end with better results.

It was good to get some much needed seat time in a Gr.4 car last night. I can't figure out why I'm so far off pace in that class whereas I believe I can keep up much better in Gr.3. I genuinely got worried it was an open tune race after two laps in. It didn't help that the only practice I had was the qualifying session but it still took me more than 30 laps to get a lap that was still >1 off the best lap. I haven't watched the replay but I'm assuming I was at least 1.5 to 2 sec off per lap. The Gr.4 Ferrari seems to lack the magic of the Gr.3 version which was a huge disappointment to me. All of Gr.4 seems to drive like a plow to me. The biggest thing I tried to work on last night was backing up the entry and getting to the throttle as soon as possible. I had no strategy so it was basically a 1.5 hr test session for me. As usual, I had fun anyway.
