IMGN1877.JPG

The tunes that I post here are ones that I have created for seasonal events and career races in GT6 (i.e. British Lightweight Cup, 4WD, etc..). I try to make cars which are responsive, look good and handle well. I do my own tunes for seasonal races and will put them up if I make a tune that is capable of getting gold easily.

I use a DS3 controller so some tunes may not feel the same for wheel users. Having never used a wheel, I don't really know what the difference is (and I'm sure there is one).

Feel free to post comments and if my tune can be improved, have a tinker with it, post the settings for the revised tune for me to adapt mine too.

Hopefully one or two of the tunes I put on here can help people.

Works well on city circuits and twisty tracks. Low top speed means its not suited to circuits like Monza.
Dude the Evora is beyond controllable, I hate to ask but do u have anything for it? Thnx.

I have not tuned this car yet. Will look at doing a tune for it later tonight/tomorrow morning when I get chance. Will put the tune on this link when I have something decent for it.

I used inch up 1 racing wheels on my Evora as it suited the car but I don't know if it actually helps the car in anyway. Driver preference I guess.

It wont help, as you guys might know there's a bug in the game when changing rims on cars with a staggered set up. Im pretty sure the Evora has one (ie. wider rear tires versus the front). Remove the rims, and grip will change dramatically, MR cars are always tricky but by far the fastest.

Hope this helps.

Hi Morans,
Scirocco 👍
thank you for sharing, I turn yet in 1.28.420 but little better,
against by putting racing exhaust and catalytic converter we arrive at 284 hp
I will try to reverse the position of the ballast
see you soon and good luck for the future ;)

(Scirocco tune)
I could probably gain another second on my current time as I had a few scrappy corners and I could never get the corner as tight as I wanted to before coming onto the home straight. For the seasonsals, I usually stop trying once I have got gold. I will never be up there against wheel users, even if i had their tune to use, so I don't bother.

This tune was very helpful to complete this event.
I could never get the same gearing settings (either without or with an oil change).
The handling was great.
Thank You!!!!

I will double check the gear settings this evening and retrace my steps. I follow praiano63's gearing guide which he has on his page. If i can't retrace my steps taken, you can always do a gear set up from his information.

Glad this tune helped.

Update. Just checked the settings. The gear settings match on my car to what is on here. Did you follow each step in turn? The only thing I can think if you did and they didn't match, I could have set final gear to 5.500 first off and then set the speed but that is the only thing I can assume happened.

I've noticed that you say to not change the oil in some of your tunes. Why is that? Is it because you need to keep the PP set? And if so, can't that just be adjusted using the Power Limiter?

Your tune for the KTM got me that extra second that I needed to get Gold in the Alps. I couldn't break 1:10 with the stock settings and needed your little tweak to get me there, so thank you. But don't tell anyone I used one with an oil change. :dopey:

You got it. I decided to keep the Power reduction to a minimum. If the oil has already been changed then lower the PP using the power settings to meet the requirements.

Glad to be of assistance.

Thanks for the tunes Shaun, has helped me get gold on both X-BOW and NSX. Couldn't get the same gear ratios for the NSX (4 through 6 my max number is lower) but with the rest as you posted, I have managed a 2:22 so far after about 5 full laps with a few more seconds left on track. The tune would go much quicker with a wheel and manual shifting, I only have a DS3 and use auto. Keep up the good work and thanks again:tup:

Someone else mentioned the gear ratios earlier. Its odd because I took what on my screen. It could be I set the initial final gear to something different but didn't remember correctly. As I mentioned to the other post, If you need to set the gear box up from scratch to make it complete, just follow Praianos gearbox guide and you can't go wrong.

I use DS3 as well so I know what you mean about the speed. Thats one reason why I stop going round the track when I reach a gold trophy time as I can never reach a wheel users time.

May be what happened but the gears are still good anyway. Yeah it is disheartening looking at their times...like this event, have got the time down to a 2:20.2 yet am 8.7 seconds behind the leader! Mind you, I am in 189th currently so can't really complain...and there's still more time to be found as it wasn't close to a perfect lap

Glad this tune helped.

Update. Just checked the settings. The gear settings match on my car to what is on here. Did you follow each step in turn? The only thing I can think if you did and they didn't match, I could have set final gear to 5.500 first off and then set the speed but that is the only thing I can assume happened.

Just recheck my settings and still couldn't get gears 4 thru 6. Just worked around it. I really liked the feel of the car.
Thanks Again!

This car can't be forced to go round sharp corners very easily. Brake in a straight line prior to the corner, turn in under low pressure breaking and then power on out when you can see a straight line out of the corner. It is not the nicest of cars to turn in but it is fast out of the corners if this approach is taken. Too much power going into a corner and it will spit you out the other side in a cloud of smoke.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Tested on Silverstone circuit. Lap time on SS tyres. 2.05.
