That's probably what AMG means in german. Smoking tires. Most of their AMG cars have way too much torque and you spin tires a lot.

I'll be back at some point. Been having health issues for a couple months and the meds are putting me in bed early. Wouldn't think anyone would want a driver nodding out on track. You guys just have the coolest banners!

Thanks buddy, and get well soon!

Is there any advice that anyone can provide me on how to use a wheel. I can't even break the tires with out going around. The moment my back tires break lose the steering wheel refuses to steer and I just go into the wall. It is so frustrating that I cant even use it for some of the challenges in single player because I just break lose once and I have to start the entire thing over again. I have the sensitivity set to the lowest I can find.

That's something you are going to have to get used to. A lot of drifters drift with a controller and a lot of Rally drivers use a controller for the same reason and that is because it is easier to control slides/spins. With a controller it is easy to save a spin, with a wheel it is not. Remember, the reason you are spinning out isn't the wheel, it is the throttle. You are giving it too much throttle too fast. Stop doing that and you will stop spinning out. Guuuud Lock!

I just started using a wheel since Christmas. That used to happen to me all the time and it made me so angry!!! My best advice... keep taking laps. Your muscle memory will get used to reacting exactly as it should to counter-steer, etc. I'm just now really getting used to the subtleties of force feedback. Smooth throttle work is also key... when in doubt, better to slowly accelerate out of a turn. Make sure your wheels are always straight before hitting 100% power.

Thanks for the advice :) I will keep trying. It just sucks because I'm so used to being able to fix a lose rear end no problem with the DS3 and then switching to the wheel its like WTF??!!

My wife made dinner plans for us tonight since she knew I had nothing planned for tonight. 🤬

Pretty sure I will miss qualifying, maybe race 1, will try to make race 2.

Yup, you gotta learn "the touch" for the accelerator and the brake.... Its like driving a real car bro!

I'm trying, but old habits die hard. I still catch my self doing my "throttle control" that I would do with the controller. But, I am still getting better. I am starting the daunting task of getting gold in all the specials and everything in single player offline. Today I was able to get all gold in the Nascar challenges, Something that i was never able to do with the controller due to the lock to lock steering on the DS3.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words of advice. It helps out with keeping me going on this wheel. Pretty nice when you have a community that supports others, even when it does not relate to the club :D

I started using a DFGT in the new year. It was a drastic change and I am still adjusting to the controls specially braking. I am pretty sure in no time you'll be faster with a wheel than when you use DS3.

Dudes, I'm having internet problems this evening... I'm on the phone with Comcast but I may not be able to run tonight.

Our battle got my heart pumping! I've never ran consistent laps for as long as last night before. :)

I was feeling the same way about my battle with Scorpion. That car/track combo has got to be one of the best I've been able to run so far. I predict more close racing in the next race in the Impreza TC!

ZeroesX9, is in. Looking forward to this competition.

If we could get you to look at the first page of the thread and pick unique car and wheel colors along with a unique number for cars with number plates we will get you added.
Thanks and welcome to the Turtle Racing league's Enduro Series.
You might also be interested in our two other series the Flex Series and the new F1 series.
We look forward to seeing you on track.👍

Great racing as usual! Great battles all around! The sls is an amazing ride! Glad Mercedes decided to make a proper sports car!

Mic I saw your check up when the ghost car came up on us. I believe if u stayed flat out it would've made a photo finish! Great race! Super consistant!

Great job everyone! On to The Grand Valley!!

Yeah, it was just bad timing. I was behind you so didn't know we were coming up on him and it was right before the quick right/left kink. I checked the replay and he was coasting down the middle of the track having hit the start button for some reason, so only going 50 mph (please just pull over guys or go into the pits). I about jumped out of my seat when his ghost suddenly appeared right in front of me.

I also had some really bad luck on the pit stop. My stop was 2.5 seconds slower than yours. I think it was because of my pit stall and the crew for the guy behind me was set up for his pit stop. My car almost came to a stop before slowly entering my pit lane. It's not like i have any control over that :irked:

Anyway, it was a fun couple of races. I'm just bitter because i wanted the sweep!:P
