I never hit the rev limiter in practice tonight. But, my car wasn't fully broken in yet either.

With mine broken in it hits the limiter a bit on the straight. Not long enough to bounce off the limiter, just long enough to stop pullin for a bit. But it's good insurance that everyone will be slowed down enough for the hairpin.

I have 2 a white 97 ws6 package with 58000 orig miles. I put all the miles on it except 6000 of them, and a 79 t-top car that I've had since about 1992 its in the garage getting fresh powerplant a 400 pontiac motor that should produce around 450 hp when its done. I gotta save some money to buy waterpump, fuel pump and oil pump and it will be done and ready for install. I cant wait that car is going to be fun to drive.

in practice last night, when under drafting conditions i was hitting the rev limiter around turn 1 (the kink after start/finish), so it played a part in trying to pass on the long straight. Not a lot of clean passing spots on this track, so that should make the race a lot of fun and a good challenge.

The 97 has been to the track a few times 1/4 mile only, not sure I would want to take it to a track day though. I would be worried that someone would hit me or something worse. Thats my baby and it is a very clean low mile car. It runs mid 13's completly stock except the k&n air filter. My 79 has been in the garage for 15 yrs getting restored, its a work in progress, so no track time for it till its done, then probably some bracket racing.

530pp 4WD Seasonal @ La Sarthe, run it 10 times in an hour and a half. 10 million.

If anyone is curious that seems to be the quickest way to get money. Using a Subaru Rally Car power limited to 455pp. You have to cut all the chicanes to win, but with 200% login bonus you get just over a million credits in around 9 minutes.

Back to the new schedule...no rain tracks.
