Dont forget to break cars in before practice tomorro guys or atleast change the oil.
Translation: The Formula had a 305 Cubic Inch V8 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor, which sucked the big one. Now, it has a 350 Cubic Inch V8 with 4 bolts holding the main bearing caps in place instead of 2. And it has better (Fuelie) cylinder heads and a Holley 650 cfm (cubic feet per minute) carburetor and Performer RPM Intake manifold with a flat tappet .501 lift on the intake valve and .510 lift on the exhaust valve cam shaft and 1.6 roller type rocker arms. The heads need to be upgraded to vortec cylinder heads though.
That should be pretty close.
I'm impressed, I did'nt know you had that in you.
He is right on the money.👍
u guys make me jealous right now I have a stock Focus (one in my avatar) but I am going to tune it when I get the money to.
You can suspend b spec races.
Hehe! I bought my 70 Road Runner when I was 15 years old. My parents wouldn't let me drive it on the street, so I drove it up and down my driveway until I got my license.
I overhauled the 383 it came with and later put in a 440 with 2 650 cfm four barrels on it. They are vacuum secondaries so I had to get a Holley balance tube kit with softer springs to get them to open at the correct time.
I managed to find a low rise 2 four barrel intake off of a racing boat motor. It is awesome, it fits under the hood perfectly. The pistons are 9.5 compression but with steel head gaskets they are 9.9. Perfect for the street.
It has a Crane .552 intake .528 exhaust cam. I forget the duration. Hydraulic lifters and adjustable rocker arms. I put a high volume oil pump and windage tray in it as well.
It has an aluminum water pump with a 50% under driven lower pulley and an electric fan motor. Which is totally awesome for tuning. You can hear the motor so much better and you didn't have to worry about that damn flex steel fan blade.
I had to put a 4 core radiator in it to keep it cool. But not because of the under driven pulley or electric fan. I had the 727A automatic transmission rebuilt with a reverse (change the shifting order) manual valve body and 3500 stall convertor. It chirps every gear no matter how much gas you are giving it.
It has 3.5 inch Centerlines in front and 9.5 inch Centerlines in the back. I manged to get a nice set of 2 ply M&H race masters in the wheel wells though. I also added a battery in the trunk kit.
And the rear end is an 8 3/4 with 4.56 posi track gears. The Dana rear ends came with manual transmission cars. I use 50/50 shocks in the rear with a set of Mopar super stock springs and 90/10 shocks up front.
It has an awesome set of 2 1/4 Hooker headers with 3" straight through racing mufflers. It was a bitch to find someone who would inspect it. But the only street racing I would do was street tires, mufflers, and a state inspection. And the stories the back seat could tell you can't be discsussed here!
That thing should be pretty quick. Have you ever had to the local strip? If so what kinda times does she run?
Reverse manual valve body! Fun!

Didn't want to start at top of new page without the image.
We will all meet in div. 2 then split into gruops according to divisions if we have to.
I would have you infinital go with div.3, I would go with div.A, and we would normally have martin stay in div.1. since martin and psycho are'nt going to be available this saturday we would probably just divide into 2 groups and have at it. I know I forgot div.2 but we would have mic or someone else in div.2 steward that lounge, or just add 1 and 2 together just depends on how many show up.
