The camaro broken in is at 505pp. Which would be racing hard tires? We are listed at sports soft.

I much rather prefer the sports softs, but weren't we taking the broken in pp for tires?

If I remember correctly, the tires are based on un broken in PP.

Going to be a fun race. Turn 1 on draft will be interesting.

Did have fun practice last night by myself. Had run the b-spec grand valley to break in. It's tires req are sports soft. The camaro had SH so I just let it run with that. Start the race and check back on it later to see that all the cars in the race are running Sports Soft. Weird.

Finish the race, change the oil, go to the lounge and start practicing. First losing rear-end at all the big turns, thinking what the hell is going on?

Run 10 laps, go into pit and it says "Sports Hard" ?

Go out to lobby and into settings and didn't have sports soft tires purchased. But my bob was using it in the enduro. Weird.

Buy sports softs and was a much better experience racing.

I think I was getting around 2:17'ish in testing, but still didn't have a perfect lap. I'm sure micantony will pull out a 2:10 or something extraordinary.

i ran only a few laps in the car and was doing high 2:15's and 2:16's.

but i fear i was destroying my tires well before i'd make 10 laps on them. it's going to take some practice time to get it right as i have very little experience on the first section of this track (having run mostly the Nurb 24H layout)

I seemed to do alright on tire wear, but one trip to the kitty litter changes that.

I'm looking at mid to low 2:16s also, though with conservative apex speeds and exits... I think this car can do a sub 2:15 time, but the rear tires are taking a beating.

I try to get on at night (11:30'ish or so) and go practice in turtle_town. Usually only run about 15-20 laps or so then call it a night.

I Just Finished Practice about 45min. ago My Best was 2:13.66 but after about five laps i would loose about 2 seconds. This is one car where traction control might be an advantage real easy to spin out

I get 2 or 3 good laps out of the car and then it's 2:15's and 2:16's for me.

turned a magic 2:13.538 lap during practice with Fordracing99 last night, but most of mine were above 2:15.

this might be an interesting race. the guys who push early might wear their tires out prematurely and the guys conserving early might catch and pass by the lap 10 pit stops! Sport Soft tires get extremely slippery at 50% wear...

turn #1 is going to be fun throughout the race. BRAAAAAKKKKKKKEEEEEE!

I've only had a chance to run a handful of laps so far. My times were mid 2:15 to mid 2:16. I hope to be able to put in a few hours Friday night. Still have to break my car in also.
