That was a fun race. I had a couple mistakes which really cost me position. I had to crawl my way back from 8th in I think the first race.
Next race is going to be an awesome race. I love the track, and especially the car. That has to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Had a blast my first race with you guys. It is so fun racing with guys that are clean and understanding what racing is all about. We all understand that no-one is here to do any kind of dirty racing and a little bit of rubbing or bumping is understandable. Very good racing with Psycho and can't wait to race with yaw again..

Just change oil and break car in around 200 miles. I use the laguna race in b-spec to run my cars and get them broke in. Then I change oil again after the laguna race from there you should be good to go. Although lately we have been having enough practice races to get the car broke in, we probably have been running 2 or 3 practice races per session.
Practice sessions are held on Wednesday and Friday at 8pm est in Turtle Town lounge.

Looks like I can finally make a race this weekend! I'm sorry for being so inactive, I've had a run of bad luck/being busy, but I don't have anything planned this weekend, so I'm looking forward to some good racing 👍

Welcome ncrthree, I am glad to see you got all signed up! 👍 If you do anything but change the oil, the brake balance, or the torque split the "Tuning Prohibited" filter will not allow the car to enter. So, the answer would be yes, if you add any aero to the car it will be prohibited from entering the room.

I tested out the car, and man that thing has really high transmission settings. My top gear is 4th. Maybe when it is broken in that might change, but I doubt it. I am seriously considering using the clutch for this race since the car has pretty slow gear changes, and I won't need to do much down shifting. Also with the new patch having some changes in that area, it will be fun to test it out that way

Hopefully the patch will make it better than it was.

Well I've tried it with the patch, and there doesn't really feel like any difference with the clutch unfortunately 
EDIT: Tires last much longer now though. You could probably go all 20 laps with the sports soft, although Suzuka has a pretty short pit lane, so depending on whether there is much of a drop off, it might be worth it (I suspect not though). I'll have to do more testing to see whether I can make it to 20.
Also my fastest time so far is about 2:20 (not broken in). I'm sure I'll be able to bring that down lots, as there are a few turns which I am not taking the fastest line yet.

They ended up releasing the patch yesterday, and the DLC comes out today. Maybe they decided to do it yesterday so that the Server maintenance is over when the DLC is available.
