1967 for me. Thanks ! See you guys tonight in Practice!

Remember to reset your transmission to default. I had the problem on Wednesday and I heard some other people were having that problem as well.

It's ok, ended up getting a 1:49 something late wednesday night, not broken in. Didn't get any time last night as it was my wife's birthday and the baby went to sleep an hour later than normal. My wheel stand I'm using Staples Stand is still a work in progress to get enough weight on the bottom to keep it rock solid. I'm going to eventually build a wood stand, but not now. So far I've got two weights on it's legs (20lb and 15lb) and it's pretty stable, but is still a little bleh.

Only thing I'm having real problems with is recovering from an off-track slip and spin. It was easy in the ds3 to recover.

I was actually going to post, that for tomorrow's race if I run a little crazy I apologize and am not doing it on purpose.

I would suggest remapping the reverse button it has helped me a little with off track excursions. The wiper switch should probably be remapped also, although I have'nt done that yet. So if you see me with wipers on tell me to turn them off, as I drive in front bumper cam and cant see them. Allthough martin says it makes him faster and maybe thats why I have'nt remapped it yet.:sly:

Turned my wipers on as well and couldn't remember what button it was to turn them off.

I'd use cockpit view if:

A. I had triple screens, but if I had a triple screen setup I'd probably just play Iracing (sorry)

B. There was a better view inside so that you could see the side mirrors.

C. If the playstation eye supported the head viewing in GT-Life. Currently it just works in Arcade mode.

that was definitely the biggest thing i had to deal with as well when i got my wheel. when you start to lose the back end, recovery is much more difficult with the wheel. But, it taught me to learn how to drive better with throttle control!

took me 2 or 3 weeks to relearn how to drive with a wheel, but it was well worth it, no going back...ever.

Some day i will build my cockpit and learn left foot braking. some day.

I've been using two since I got the wheel. When I had one before I found it hard to grab. However now it's not so much a problem and even on occasion I do it in the real car.

Also added a picture to the top of those post for ya.

Was thinking, with the new patch coming out we can disable collisions. Now without knowing what that exactly means. We might be able to do a rally race. Problem with doing the a rally race now, is there's too much contact as we're all sliding around the place.

Doesn't this look like fun.
