However, the carbon fiber hood is considered tuning and the "tuning prohibited" filter will not let you enter the track. It would be nice if it would though. Is there a specific way to break in your car?

There are cars that can not be painted so race them as they are. Almost everyone uses B-spec to break-in their cars. You need to put about 200 miles on them and then change the oil. If you don't get them broke-in be sure to at least change the oil. With the Rally cars it won't be that important.
