I had major connectivity issues last night. Being new to Internet participation, I am looking for some input. I've been in practice lounges for hours at a time with no issues, typically with 5 or so others. Last night with 12 other racers, I kept getting disconnected or lagging. In the first race I didn't even make it through the first turn!

In order to not distract the other racers with a laggy, popping car on the track, I decided to sit last night out until I get this figured out.

My question is, do you think it's an ISP speed issue, based on it being OK with a lesser number of cars? Would you share what type of Internet service speed you use?

go into your options and go all the way to the bottom. select network. and click clear network cache. this should be done every day when you log on and immediately before large races

If you are wireless you may have a continuous problem. Go direct if at all possible. Do this before every race

Step 1: Reboot your modem/router
Step 2: Reboot your PS3
Step 3: Clear your GT5 in game System Cache

Sorry, I don't know the horsepower. The last time we raced Karts I think only parabulla had his broken in. You have to put about 180 miles on it and then rebuild the engine to get maximum horsepower.

Where did you drive it? A-Spec, B-Spec, Practice Mode, On Line? I have that same problem sometimes. Very frustrating!

Ok, you do not get miles in free run and there are no A-Spec, B-Spec, or Seasonals for the Karts. That is why most of us do not have them broken in. You will get some miles in the practice races on Tuesday night though.

I can't confirm this right now but I heard that if you run a race after you do Free Run you will get all the miles you put on it in Free Run plus what you put on it in the race. It might be worth running a 1 lap race after doing all that Free Run. I may be wrong though.

I have tried this in the past and found that it does not seem to work. I did not get mileage for races that I ran by myself either. It would appear you have to actually race against someone else (AI or human) to rack up miles.

It won't let you save a race you ran by yourself either.
