TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FORMULA 1 Racing Series - EVERYONE WELCOME!

What exactly is a level 24 ticket?

<---Total N00B!

Every car in the game has a level which is loosely based upon the difficulty. If you go to the new car dealership you'll see next to each car is a number. When your level reaches the same as the car you can now buy it as long as you have enough credits to get it. Certain accomplishments in the game will give you a level ticket. When you open this ticket it will open a random car from that level and give it to you. If you go to the questions and answers section of this forum and go to the sticky about frequently asked questions in the first post there is a link that will bring you to the list of cars for each level. The level 24 ticket only has three cars, F2007,F10 and FGT. (The three Indy/formula 1 cars. When you receive a ticket as a gift, back out of your game and save it to a USB Drive. Once you have done that re enter the game and pull the ticket and accept the car. This way if you don't like the car you get from the ticket you can back out of the game again reload the previous save and then try it again without losing your ticket. I hope this makes sense as I'm very poor at explaining things

Send a friend request to scarecrow937 and I'll send you a few level tickets that will give you some high grade sports cars and race car. There is a limit of one per day so I'll send them out over the next week or so

Edit... Whoops, I meant to edit, not quote my previous post

C'mon man!

Vegas ran softs and didn't pit :scared: I ran a 1:12.6 in practice but was going through tires very quickly. Probably need 2 stops!:dunce:

Anyway, not too many people can pull off wins against vegas. Congratulations guys!

Vegas may have run a 13 in the race, but otherwise, no one was even close to a 12.6.

12.6 was on half fuel and new tires (no slipstream). May also explain why my tire wear was so bad. Usually I'm very easy on tires but I was pushing harder than I normally like to. Would also explain why I crashed in each practice race.

Scarecrow- So I did what you instructed and the game initially gave me the FGT so I went to my save utility and copied the backup from my USB back to the game and restarted. Everything seemed to work fine, except now when I attempt to add the gift to my "list", it doesn't do anything.?.? It just sits there as a gift.. taunting me. Ha!

I'm thinking I should have accepted the gift into my items list, let the game save and THEN backup. The network probably only allows the reception of a gift one time, but once you have it, well... yeah.

Ahhh... and to boot, with all the flopping around and restarting the game (new auto-saves) I don't even have the FGT either. Dangit.

Anyways, sent you the FR. Gonna go try out the 07 I ground away for. :)

Yeah man, you have to receive the ticket first. Hopefully someone can send another 24 ticket. I don't have one but I will send over the next week levels 20 & 23, and I think I have a 16 and 17. I use to have all of them but I burnt of a lot recently. Hopefully the tickets I send you will give you enough to be able to do some seasonals and start racking in some cash

Yeah, I think im in decent shape now. Thanks for all the help! Only problem left is I now have a gift the game won't let me receive or delete! :)

I'm not sure when, but soon here, I'm going to have to miss some F1 races, since I'm going to start dirt racing around town here in Minnesota! Ill still try to make F1 races. But again, I'm not sure when I start but all I know its soon. Thanks

ATTENTION
The "OCD" poll is here. Please go vote for your "OCD" car of choice for the June 13, 2013 race. Thanks!

Man, this is gonna be a tough first F1 race. Fun to drive, but my thumbs aren't very quick. :-)

They are short races it should'nt wear the thumbs to bad.

Right. I was actually referencing how quickly the car reacts to input.

I'm not very good at getting everything out of this thing. I don't seem to be able to find much more speed out of the difference compounds. Basically, for me and my experience with the car, it's about a tenth between each tire.

Aww man. Didn't realize practice was tonight. Dinner out with the fam. Ill try to pop in when I get home.

b spec seasonal suzuka with mazda furai. 1M every 20 mins. easy money should have enough for 1 of the f1 cars. imo buy the f10 and practice for the next enduro and swap of cars.

We reached a milestone today! I was not able to add 2 of our 3 newest members because the PSN lounges were 100% full. After removing some inactive drivers I was able to send out the PSN Turtle FRs. However, we are still almost full.

What does this mean to you? This mean we no longer have the luxury of having members that do not participate on a regular basis. Therefore, as we add new members that would like to participate we will have to remove those who do not. The league is set up for all members to be able to participate in any event they choose and that is how we would like for it to remain.

As you can see from the schedule below we have 5 very exciting racing series. It is not necessary to race every race or even race every week. However, it might be a good idea to either attend a series practice, a series race, or participate in any of the series threads. If you would like to begin participating on a regular basis again please send us a PM stating that is your intention.

This weeks line up. Enjoy!

It's a great F1 track! If you get your breaking points down, you can really fly. 👍

yeah, if you're good.. which I'm not :) I'm so bad I'm consistently slower with softer tires! I guess I just haven't yet figured out how to get more out of them. I know you can slowly throttle on exiting the carousel with the softer compounds than with the hards. More than anything I think the braking distance is shorter. I'm sure I'll figure out more about these things as time goes. Hilarious, my boy is playing F1 Race Stars right now. He's so awesome (7 yo).
