Suzuka has never been my favorite track. The first two corners once you get off the east side of the track has always been horrible for me. Lets see if I can do better in a F1

And I have to say I am you never seen me last night in your rear view mirror last night Psycho. I was right behind you for almost 17 laps but you REFUSED to make a mistake that I could capitalize on. Anyhow that ranked on my top five of battles I been in XD.

Event Recap

We had a fantastic turnout and an incredible night of racing for our first F1 Series event! Congratulations go to Maxime, who won first place overall while putting on a driving clinic with his shoes untied! Qualifying on the pole, he wasn't quite able to hold off Executioner in the first race, but came from WAY behind in the second race to tell us how it is. A hard-earned and well-deserved victory!

Executioner claimed a 1st and 5th place in the two events, came away with 2nd place overall, and was the only state-side driver willing to represent in the top 3. Oshawa rounded off the podium with a 6th and 3rd and a tie-broken 3rd overall, to create a maple-leaf majority among the trophy winners.

Psycho, with 3rd and 6th, and Otaku, with 5th and 4th, scored enough points to play spin-the-bottle with Oshawa, but their fastest lap times put them into the 4th and 5th overall spots respectively. FFK, our fearless leader, earned himself a 6th place overall with 4th and 7th place finishes, and Ridgeline was given the most-likely-to-come-back-next-week award after turning an 11th place finish into a 2nd place fluke. Johnsom put his kung-fu grip on 8th place which, surprisingly enough, resulted in an 8th place overall finish. Special guest driver mbobb did like Faust so that he could hammer out a 7th and 13th and an alarmingly fast 51.368. Are you serious?? Friend handed-in a 9th and 11th place finish for 10th overall, which surprised most of us and may entice him to go and buy a steering wheel setup. Shred looked like he was knocked out of contention in the first race but kept it tight in the second, ending with 13th and 10th for the 11th overall spot. Shadow finished 14th and 9th for 12th overall while fielding questions from his girlfriend and explaining to her what was going on. TZRacer claimed 12th as his lucky number, but we gave him 13th overall anyway. And, finally, Kracker threw-down a strong 10th place in the first race but DNFed (non-server issue) the second event for 14th overall.

Its worth mentioning that I watched the replays and saw at least two instances where one driver spun a second driver but did not stop and allow the other driver to recover his position... Please remember the Golden and Cardinal Rules, and please do not force the Stewards and Coordinators to step-in.

Oshawa-Joe finished 6th in the first race, not me. I'm guessing this was a simple typo, and I'm glad I'm pointing this one out. However, if it wasn't, I'm curious why I was demoted to 6th place then.

Next race I will do better. But not Flex or Enduro this week. Still messing around with it so don't expect much from me. I swear though the house I got this thing from looked like a crack house. Still well worth the money though.

Also on a side note. Never by a PS Vita for its camera. All one megapixel of it.

If only the kung fu grip could be tighter next time! My consistency is a work in progress. I was trailing psycho for good 3 laps in the 2nd race but i felt i was trailing a ghost that doesnt make any mistakes. I caved in and hit the wall.
