TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - NURBURGRING Racing Series - ACCEPTING MEMBERS

Although running out with half a lap to go at Daytona is nothing like running out with half of the Nurb left :ouch:

Yea I was like whats going on my car wont go, then I noticed the fuel guage. Just a few gallons short. I will know next time.

That happened to me in High School on more than one occasion. Alas, I remembered the electric fuel pump on my '70 Road Runner was off. Luckily I was never alone when it happened. hehe!

Hey guys we will have some practice tonight after the Enduro practice is finished.
Come one come all.

Race Recap

Another great race! Dolph Drago was on fire, but he had to be with micantony on his tail. Dolph Drago and micantony battled back and forth for most of the race until micantony tried to see if his pit stops would be any faster if he drifted backwards into them. Nope, a drive through and 2nd Place were his rewards. Dolph Drago went on to take 1st Place. Great race Dolph Drago! Psycho-Tuber and no_bull_racin97 (aka ABG_Legacy97) had a great long running battle as well. no_bull_racing97 held Psycho-Tuber off as long as he could but eventually finished in 4th Place with Psycho-Tuber taking 3rd. RacingOtaku86 was back from his vacation and certainly had good speed. Inconsistency and a bold but flawed pit strategy led to a 5th Place finish. Welcome back RacingOtaku86! MonkeyBoy4q and his rare Red Audi R8 LMS Race Car got caught up in one Psycho-Tubers early crashes but a solid race led to a 6th Place finish. ph1sher with a little help from mbobb1969s crew chief brought home 7th Place. mbobb1969 and his crew chief couldn't manage any better than 8th Place after running out of gas less than half way through the last lap. GTP_tzracer spent his race getting used to his new LOGITEC G27 and finished in 9th Place. Congratulations on your new wheel!

It was Martin. And it was actually closer than that time gap shows. If i had kept going at the end, we probably would have ended up about 20 seconds apart. About as long as my extra pit stop! LOL

RacingO actually had the lead for a bit on his one-stop strategy, but he couldn't keep us behind him with our fresh tires for long.

Testing the day before the race, I knew it would be a 2 stop strategy for me. Otaku boldly went for it on 1 stop. Unfortunately I think his tires paid the price. I still wonder how the race would have turned out if not for micantony's pit miscue...

I'm not going to make the race tonight but had a lot of fun after the enduro in Turtle Town. Fun little Merc. Good luck tonight.

Having issues joining the lounge. After a couple of failed attempts, I just got a message saying "Entry was refused due to network incompatibility with the room host. [768]"

Any ideas??

Edit: Restarting my PS3. Hoping it will work...
Edit2: Seemed to do the trick. :)

I was looking forward racing for you guys tonight but my internet was giving me problems. Hope yall had fun!

While you where racing I wrapped my G27 in 3M Carbon fiber!

Sorry I could not make it last night guys. I got caught up helping the wife with packing to move.

In a way it was the perfect car. If you treated it right it would reward you. If you took it for granted it would decide to go play in the sand or mow the lawn. Mine did both!

Yes it was a fun car to drive around there wish I could've made the race. I was looking forward to that one. I had alot of fun in it after Saturday nights races.
