That's what we do. Just run 200 miles in b spec to break the car in and adjust the brake balance. I normally leave everything stock and adjust it from the RA menu once I get on the track.

The Division A race was good and very fun. I missed the first race, but I made it to the 2nd race. I led the first 10 laps and gave up the lead to Branflakes.

1st race was kind of spread out. The 2nd race everyone finished within about 1 second of the leader.

Ok, lol. so we can change wheels and adjust center diff. and adjust brake? transmission service to adjust for wheels? close ratio fixed box? needs clarification.

You can adjust brake bias on all cars.

Wheels can be changed on most cars, sometimes the transmission must be reset - there is a reset button.

On some 4wd, the stock center differential can be adjusted.

Do an oil change and break in the car, about 200 miles. Most let their Bob drive the car at the Laguna Seca endurance race.

How to join the Turtle Racing League - TYRO Racing Series

Step 1: Post your request to join along with your PSN ID in this thread. Also choose and include an unused (refer to drivers list) car and wheel color combination and car number. When you join as a beginner you will automatically be signed up for the Turtle Racing League - Enduro Racing Series Division A.

Step 2: Accept the friend requests you are sent which will include our TURTLE_Town lounge that is to be used for practice, testing, free run, or casual pick up races. We race in private lounges not public lobbies. To join the lounge click on the COMMUNITY tab which is below GTLIFE and PROFILE on the GT Home Page and select the appropriate Turtle account, then click on the Coffee Cup, then click join.

Step 3: Purchase and break in your car(s) then change the oil. Do not tune them in any way. Races are "Tuning Prohibited" however, the "Tuning Prohibited" filter allows for changing brake balance, and engine limiter.

Step 4: Division A - join the TURTLE_DivisionA lounge on Saturday night at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific. Division 1 - join the TURTLE_Division1 lounge on Saturday night at 8pm Eastern / 5pm Pacific
 
Practice tonight at 8pm eastern in Turtle Town.

Mazda roadster TC at Laguna Seca. This car is more fun than the TTS.

Everyone uses the same car each week. We just all have a different paint job and wheel paint combo to distinguish us. Also a # for the racing modified cars.
 
Also there is no tuning allowed other than brake balance and oil changes after breaking in your car.

Hi, go to the first page and read the first few posts, they will explain everything.

We are a no tuning race series. Each week everyone uses the same car. We all have different car/wheel colors. The number is for the cars that allow number changes.

We've always had close racing in the Mazda Roadster TC's, can't wait to see what it's like with stickier tires.

Welcome to Turtle Racing! Your car/wheel color combo looks good but number 23 has already been taken. Have a look at the Driver's List and choose an unused number. Look forward to racing with you John.

Yea, BranFlakes definitely needs promoted to div 1. He qualified 2nd in practice ahead of a few div 1 drivers. I know phish didn't have his car broken in though, I'm not sure about the other people though.

Btw NCRthree, I love the idea you have with the clean run challenges. I've attempted a few of them, but not to seriously. I've got way to much on my plate with the turtle races, WRS and seasonals. Just wanted to give you a nod of appreciation regardless. 👍

Thanks. Driving in those challenges tries my patience but really helps with car control especially with no ABS. I'm not used to driving on such sticky tires-haven't driven on anything more than Sports Hards in months. Have to practice a bit more I guess. You're quick all right, what are you doing in a begineers group, lol. PURE or WRS is where you belong. Nice driving!

Yea, those sticky tires will give you a lot of confidence until you get back into something with sports mediums or less lol I can't drive abs on this game. My peddles are way to easy to push and I end up locking the brakes. I left foot brake and I guess my left leg is more muscular from double clutching a 13 speed all day.

Thank you for the kind words :) don't let my Laguna performance trick you lol that's probably my fastest track, I used to grind leader board times on Forza. I try to join every turtle race I can. When I first started here I was a terrible driver. Finished last almost every time. Then I practiced and raced with these guys to get better. They'll never get rid of me no matter how much I aggravate them :P (unless they kick me out of the lobbies!!! :eek:)

You also should have stayed around and watched the after practice race. Phisher was saying he could keep up if he had the same amount of hp as me, so I challenged him. I gave him 3 more hp than me and also a 5 second lead. What a fun race that was. It was like doing the seasonals with a human rabbit. Caught him around lap 4. The wager? If he won, I would go to division a, if I won, he would go. LoL all in good fun though.

I'm not sure on the times, I didn't save the replay (but should have!!) I don't even hardly remember honestly lol I think I won the 1st one. The 2nd one psycho won by 0.095. Was a very very close race. I'm sure if we pester him enough, he'll put up the times and maybe a race report (at least the 2nd race psycho!! You know you want to!!)

I wouldn't mind moving to Div 1
I'm just staying in Div A until someone puts me in Div 1
