TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - TYRO Racing Series - BEGINNERS SERIES!

Sorry guys. I was shuffle racing with Drex last night and got to tired.

I've played a bit of the demo and I can say that cars actually feel connected to the track. Graphics have improved and I also love the new HUD.

BTW, the demo is actually just the GT Academy. You can't drive any other of the vehicles. I really wanted to drive the Xbow :( But, you do 4 races. 2 in the Leaf Academy, 2 in the 370z Academy and then you go to hot laps for the academy.

Maybe. If her majesty lets me get online, I haven't decided if I'll do the GT academy or GT5.

Demo is up on the psn store.

2:20.949. Need to learn Silverstone a bit more. There are a few corners that give me fits. Fun track though.

Well sir, you've topped me by a good 2 1/2 seconds. :scared: can't beat you in races and apparently in time trials. It never ends. Good job big guy!! I'm gonna give this a try tonight when the kids are in bed.
 
It doesn't really matter if I qualify or not... I'm not in a valid country. xD

I really like how the suspension on the Leaf worked. It tilted like a real car would. Was a good visual aid. :P
 
I like the Physics and other things I've noticed, the game looks beautiful! It makes me even more excited for this game! :D
 
Physics felt improved. I like the feeling all around. Sitting at 2:20.590. Once I hit the 19's I'm done with it and back to GT5.
 
I like it a lot lot lot! I think this was suppose to be GT5, but either PD took to long or SCE had to push PS4 early and PD didn't want to miss a spot as a release title for the new system. Anyway I can't afford a PS4 :( Crap I need to buy more diapers!

GT6 isn't coming out for PS4 for a long time, if at all. PD is concentrating on the PS3.
 
Besides all the GT Academy stuff, Bumblebee is getting and upgrade. In Transformers 4 the car model is going to be a Camaro 2014 Concept.
 
For me personally, updating the physics and all that is great, but the primary thing i want for GT6 is for them to fix the basic stuff.

We need to be able to create Racing Series/Leagues/Time Trials within the game. Set Qualifying properly. Race Start Options (rolling or standing start). Hell, give us yellow flags/safety cars if we want! Better Online room filtering options. Better Penalty system (give us more control/options?). Better Menu system to make things easy, like being able to do oil change/reset our cars from the online room, etc...
It's the basic, easy to implement stuff that always drives me crazy about the Gran Turismo series. It looks and drives great (it's just a video game after all), but fix the rest of the game for us!

I do like the new physics model though. I noticed driving around Silverstone that it really penalizes you for driving poorly or getting just off track/on curbs too hard and that's the way it should be (not talking about disqualifying the lap, but how the car handles/grip/control). ALso, i spun out quite a bit and it didnt automatically make me end up facing the wrong direction every time! i felt like i had control of my spin a bit. Nice improvement.
 
More options are a must. Especially for creating events online(multi class racing). My biggest hangup is all the loading times. Why does it take 5 minutes just to buy a car, change the oil and paint it. To much time just sitting and waiting for the game. I believe they have addressed this issue though.

Game definitely seems faster, I hope 6 is as fast as the demo loading times are. That would be fantastic!

I agree, my most common issue with games is their load time and GT5 is no exception. I'm 46 and I've been gaming a long time and I've probably spent at least a whole year just loading LOL:dopey:
 
Anybody wanna do a pick up race or something? I'm getting tipsy so it should make for some interesting driving lol

I can't. My racing rig is disassembled. I have to move it somewhere. Apparently I have mildew or something in my basement and whenever I race, I always feel like crap the next day. I couldn't figure out why until my dad came over and asked if I was getting sick a lot.

Sooo I gotta move my setup somewhere. No idea where though. Have a 3 bedroom house and 3 kids. Can't set it up in the living room because my kids will destroy it. Can't leave it down stairs either.

Btw. Set a PB in the golf race. Previous was a 1'25.2xx, new PB is 1'24.7xx :D

Lots of mistakes though.

I drove the BMW Z4 around Luganda Seka this morning that's a good little car. Around 226hp not broken in. A fun drive.

That's sounds good. That'll be 10:30 here in the Carolina's. Maybe a few more guys will see this and be able to come. Or maybe they can't. I guess most people celebrating the 4th.
 
I havent gotten to race much with yall yet. Going to the inlaws for the 4th hopefully be home in time 8:30 PST. Your lucky your Pops noticed that mold Wins. I hear it can do more than just make you sick.
