UB57's 10-Lapper

well.. i have come up with some settings of my own which are not very radical but are (IMO) efficient enough to pull off low 1'46 consistantely in free run. (thats what am running). The race is a whole different story though, my latest submission had all laps of 1'47.xxx other than the first and pit laps.

The fastest I've managed in free run is 1"46.3 a few times but 45's Just Rick being Rick.

Had a couple of clean races (and what feels like 100 dirty) today. Closest was 0.150 slower than last submitted.

Sorry for the delay, been a crazy day. First I have to say (as I've said before) I'm already "In Awe" of those of you who manage to even drive w/DS2, especially a "Ride" that handles as "Spooky" as this one!!! With the wheel I'm only "Neutral" (that is not constantly correcting/re-correcting) for a precious few seconds every Lap.
She's just gotta be a "Handfull" w/DS2

Having said that I've come up with a different set-up than the one I shared w/phattboy & NielsG. It's a little "quicker" for me (about 1/2 Second per Lap) but a lot more "On the Edge" & less forgiving. Plus for me at least it needs to be "Thrown" into every corner kinda like a Rallye Ride! I have NO Idea if it'll work w/DS2 or not, but here goes...

Well, it's looking like I will probably end up with a DNF this week.
I spent 5 hours on it last night, and never got past lap 4 without putting 4 wheels in the grass somewhere. I'll have one more shot tonight after work, but less than an hour.

To anyone late runners who might be interested and is a "twiddler":

I had an hour last night before bedtime so I was playing around with both slowpoke's and UB's posted settings.

@ slowpoke: WHEW!! Good thing this track has a containment field You almost had the ole phattboy in your back yard! Must be a "Wheel" thing

@ UB Twiddlers give these a try! Lots faster for me than what I had cobbled together! (Wished I would have had these settings sooner!)

I got to lap 6 tonight, and then realized I was supposed to pit on lap 5. 250 miles and that's all I've got so far. I have to take my son to baseball now, and I won't be back before 8.

@ eggmann: Give "Pokie's" set-up a try w/your Wheel, absolutely "Awesome" on Blue/Green tyres!!! A little too "Slick" for me once they warm up I had SEVERAL Races on a pace to beat my submitted one but kept spinning on Lap #5 or #10! Think my set-up works better for me on Yellow Tyres, just wish I could combine the two! Think I'm done for this race. ...UB57
