Will the used car dealership in GT6 have a complete full list of cars or we have to wait again for the car we want?

I think the UCD is gone, and it's one of the only things about GT6 that makes me sad.

I think there will be more to come on this there seems to be a number of things I am seeing them address like testing cars before buying, lots of wheels and kits, testing colors before applying them ect. If it goes I am sure there will be a replacement of sorts for it.

Not sure how I feel about this...if all cars are available at any given time,it doesn't really motivate me if there is nothing to unlock..

LOL some of you are hilarrrious. The UCD in GT5 had nothing to do with unlocking or progressing logically through levels of a game. It was a random toss! Having to check that stupid UCD for the chance of getting a desired car was a pain in the ass.

Wouldn't you rather be racing/tuning/customizing/photographing/practicing/racing with these things?

I didn't say i wouldn't enjoy the game I was just refering to my lack of discipline :P god some people here are so serious.

Just to add that if I could have what I wanted whenever I wanted as opposed to having to make do,half the cars wouldn't get driven, being forced to drive certain cars can be fun sometimes.

THE UCD was not random. It followed one of two predictable patterns. But it was a pain having to wait up to 1000 cycles to get the car you wanted...

That is pure insanity by PD. It's almost as if it was designed to waste our time, like to keep us firing up GT5 in order to get much-desired cars in this artificial manner.. Maybe it was to promote trading online, but then even that has an artificial, time-wasting element to it with the one-car-per-day cap.

Yes if you browse through any random subset of my posts- you will surely find that I am a serious, stodgy bastard..

@research
The one car per day for trading was there so that you cannot just give your friends expensive cars and start to give them an extreme amount of money in a short amount of time. But I do agree how crazy the UCD was set up.

The Car Dealership/ Used Car Dealership concept of GT2 was by far the best ever in the series... Would be nice if they do something similar... but we are talking about PD here... so it's completely imposible for them to pick something that already works and use it again...

I don't care what they do to the UCD, the only thing that I ask is to be completely new and different from the GT5 system... that thing was just extremely eeeeevil and devilish... :ouch::grumpy::banghead:

Exactly what you said....

:yuck:

Fair enough.:P

My mistake but regardless it was frustrating especially when trying to get cash for certain cars and they would appear before you had the necessary credits

There might be a used section in every dealership, just like in older GT titles. That list could probably shift from time to time, pretty much like in GT PSP. That would be a good idea.

The UCD is gone. All cars can now be bought in the dealership since there's no difference between Standard and Premium.

They are very different. PD just ditched the Standard/Premium name.

If there's one thing I want gone is the UCD. If they do put it in, I hope it's the GT2 version where most cars are available on most days, and it's categorized by manufacturer. And please put an "Advance Day" button. How hard can it be PD?

I will miss the UCD, I enjoyed the notion that there were cars that were "rarer" than others due to their availability in the UCD, with everything open from the start that rareness aspect is gone. I bought many cars from the UCD I normally wouldn't even look twice at, purely because I was checking it after every race!

it will be missed, i loved the UCD in every GT game. i kinda liked buying a car that already had thousands of miles on the clock and was in need of an oil change, dunno why its just one of those things that i love.

I'm not saying there isn't a difference visually on the exterior...but that hasn't been proven. The only difference and I quote "there are no longer distinctions made between premium and standard as in the previous gt, but standard equivalent cars will only have simplified cockpit views". I assume that means black out cockpits. Standards I hope will be near to premiums on the exterior if they are throwing them in the same cage together.
