I'm very glad Chelsea are out. I loved Jose Mourinho in his first spell at Chelsea when he had a Cloughesque "Yeah, I'm good and I know it" style but now he is nothing but a whinger playing bully boy tactics.

Je Suis Paris.

Are we going to talk on how away goals shouldn't be allowed on extra time? Games should go directly to penalty kicks if they are even on away goals over the course of two matches, instead of giving the visiting team another 30 minutes to score a goal that could potentially make the other team need two goals to get through to the next stage.

Get rid of pens, just continuous Golden Goal.

Also, Zlatan.."When the Chelsea players came over, it was like I was surrounded by 11 babies"

We need more players like Zlatan. We really do.

PSG likely to appeal Ibrahimovic Red card but not likely to win as its not mistaken identity....

First four teams through to the Quarters are..

Real Madrid (Just!)
Porto
PSG
Bayern Munich

Not a bad first four huh?!

Real Madrid passed , but it got ugly for them , losing at home.

Proud of my team (Porto) , we did a great match , hopefully we carry on!

And who'll be the other four? Methinks Monaco is a good favorite to be one of them

Monaco v Arsenal (3-1) and Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen (0-1) is tonight with Barcelona v Man City (2-1) and Borussia Dortmund v Juventus tomorrow night

Arsenal can turn that deficit tonight I reckon, they need to get the first goal though, if Monaco get the first goal then its game over..

After the first 10 minutes it doesn't look like Arsenal has a chance to turn it in their favor.

Edit.

And after posting that Arsenal becomes the strongest team on the pitch.

So are anyone watching the game and posting to this thread from a pub tonight? If so, how is the atmosphere there?

EDIT: All square at Suarez scores for Atletico.

EDIT #2: Arsenal within 2 of the lead now as Giroud scores.

Aaron Ramsey scores for the Gunners and it's now tied on Aggregate! Monaco can still advance on Away Goals if it stays like this for the last 5+ minutes.

EDIT: And if it stays this for the last 5+ minutes, Atletico and Bayern Leverkusen will go to Extra Time

That second goal should have been sooner. It makes it a lot more exciting!

A Arsenal goal at this point would make it really exciting!

No that would break Monaco's spirit.

Wtf. 5 minutes extra time!
Time for the Gunners to go All-In? We are in Monaco after all...

EDIT: Looks like Les Rouges et Blancs had the higher kicker, to borrow a term from poker, and advance on Away Goals.

Meanwhile, it's Extra Time for Atletico and Bayern Leverkusen.

So how do you say "Who are ya?" in French? :D

Halftime of Extra time in Madrid with Atletico and Bayern Leverkusen still tied at 1.

EDIT: And tied it remained. Now we play the PK.

Atletico through on penalties. Excellent.

NEver seen such a terrible shoot out.

Also.

If there ever is an opportunity for me to go to Spain for a game, it needs to be in Vicente Calderón. Against Real. Supporting Atletico.

What a great atmosphere in that stadium.

Haha Neverkusen

Ramos with two penalties in one game.
Dunno if taking 2 aspirin will make them feel better in the morning...

Depends on how the draw on Friday turns out. Then again, there's La Liga too. ;)
