Games this week are Man City v Barcelona and Juventus v Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night and Arsenal v Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen v Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night..

City have given themselves a chance but they have to win by two clear goals at the Nou Camp, very tall order!!

The first half felt like a Barcelona training session...

Was impressed with our second half performance and the goal from Aguero.

But the first half was shocking, we were taught a lesson yet again but I wasn't surprised at that.

Return leg at the Nou Camp will be pretty much the same really, if Lampard and Toure play that might change things, Fernando isn't good enough and Dzeko cannot play alongside Aguero.

City are already out for me, the Messi penalty miss saved some face but not much. Barca look incredible, anyway Arsenal should boss Monaco today, looking forward to it but Arsenal matches close to my birthday mean they'll lose

I still think Arsenal are just about in it, I seem to remember them getting thrashed by Bayern Munich at home and they almost overturned it away from home.

Worst performance all season, absolute rubbish! I don't even know where the remote I threw landed to change the ****ing channel.

Bayer Leverkusen beat Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the other game, Atleti had Tiago sent off...

I have no idea how a team can be this utter 🤬 , bottle jobs the lot of them, thanks for the birthday present :grumpy:

How on earth can you lose 1-3 against Monaco B? It was 10 minutes of pressure from Arsenal and the other 80 was Monaco all the way.

Strangely satisfying.

Don't know what was bad tonight, Arsenal's performance or Gary Neville's commentary, boy he was in ruthless mode tonight.

So er....Arsenal just lost 1-3 at home to Monaco!...
So in gambling terms, how bad a beat was it?

And the Gunners might need to make a few gambles of their own if they want to win by 3 in the return leg.

Second legs start tonight with Real Madrid v Schalke and Basel v Porto (1-1) tomorrow is Chelsea v PSG (1-1) and Bayern v Shakthar

Real just made a big goal in their tie with Schalke.

EDIT: Real just made a big goal in their tie with Schalke, again and at the stroke of half-time. Both tallies coming off of the feet of Christiano Ronaldo. It's 2-2 in the match but 4-2 in the favor of Real Madrid.

EDIT #2: Elsewhere, Porto are 1-0 up in the match and 2-1 up in the tie on Basel at half-time.

Schalke need 2 more without a response from Real to go ahead on Away Goals.

Over in Porto, the home side have pretty much punched their ticket to the Quarters with a Casemiro strike from 28 meters out into the top left corner(3-0, 4-1).

Schalke are within 1 goal of a shock upset of the reigning UEFA Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup Champions via Klass-Jan Huntelaar! But can they score again in the next 4+ minutes?

EDIT: Answer #1 - Not at the moment with a Ilker Cassillas save. 3 minutes of added time remain.

EDIT #2: Final Answer - No, but they really gave it their all. Meanwhile the home fans let them know of their disappointment with how their side performed tonight.

As for Porto - Basel, it's all over but the shouting and the matter of when the final whistle blows.
