Yeah, but Gomez is a complete donkey.

Still, he got the goal in the first leg and scored a penalty tonight. Bring on Bayern playing at home (!)

With Chelsea missing Terry, Mereiles, Ivanovic, and maybe Cahill, their defence is going to be full of holes. Bayern missing Alaba and Gustavo too, got to be favourites and at home as you mentioned ... Not that that means anything as shown last night and tonight.

Haha loving this, big slap in the face for all those who thought that no one could touch the precious Spaniards.

Such a shame Terry, Ivanovic and Ramires are banned from the final, although Terry deserved it.

Anyone seen the video where the sky reporter breaks the news to Ivanovic that he's banned from the final ? Harsh.

Cahill will be fit for the final btw, he almost carried on against Barcelona. Unless he gets injured in the fight for the Europa League places.

Shreeves is rather harsh on Ivanovic indeed, just after winning telling him he can't make the final, is rather schadenfreude. Especially Ivanovic's glum looks as he's told ...

Huh what's this??? Is that word known internationally? Would be kinda cool...

Wow, second totally unexpected result in as many days.

It's anybody's final, but I have to go for Bayern. Can't have chelfy have that trophy in their cabinet now, and with the final at Bayern's stadium, I have some confidence of it :D.

It means taking pleasure in other suffering, which is exactly what Shreeves seemed to be doing :P uh, since it wasn't English to begin with, and I'm not 100% sure I spelt it correctly, yes

Dude check my location...I simply find it weird/cool that it's known internationally, which I didn't realize/know. Oh spelt correctly by the way.

Oops, my bad, obviously it's a German word, probably should have noticed your country origin. I guess it's not really part of normal vocabulary, but its fairly apt when used. I haven't heard many people ever use it if i'm honest. Not intended to come across condescending by the way.

Everything's good. 👍 Thx for clarification by the way.

And sorry for the off-topic, but I was intrigued.

Where's astrodude? :D

Just saw the game, yeah! :sly:

Right here! Jawohl! Bayern ist die beste!

I was working most of the game. But I saw the last bit, including the penalty shootout. I'm ecstatic! My friend who is a huge Real Madrid fan was next to me during the last bit. He was incredibly disappointed, but I shook his hand in a gesture of good sportsmanship.

Auf gehts, Bayern! Bringen sie auf Chelsea!

Hehehe. Love your German by the way!

Beer. Check.
Popcorn. Check.
HDTV. Check.
Surround Sound. Check.

BRING IT ON!!!!

As a neutral I'm looking forward to (hopefully) a great display of football.

As am I.

I still expect Bayern to take the win on home turf, but a Chelsea upset will bring some drama to the proceedings. Might go and crack open a beer now actually.

Auf gehts Bayern! I'm at work now missing the game. :grumpy: So I'll be taking frequent trips to the restroom to check the score on my iPhone.
