Yeah it should be an interesting match. I like to keep an eye on city and Dortmund have some interesting players

Dortmund to win 2-1.

Ajax and Madrid to draw 1-1.

Very hopeful.

DORTMUND SCORE!! 0-1 REUS..good game so far both keepers maaking great saves!

FULLTIME!! 1-1 Balotelli pen gets a point for city..fantastic game!

Dortmund would be deserved of a 6-0 win today. Why Mancini didn't play Tevez I don't know.

I believe Mancini is a bad manager, he falls out with players (Tevez and Silva to name a couple), buys bad players and fields weak teams. Why he left Dzeko on the field I have no idea. Also to add to that Toure was injured for the last half hour.

There really is no consistency in his selections. Mainly because his team is a bunch of individuals. He has so many big names he has to switch them every week, so he can't keep a team out on the field. Probably the case of half the arguments too.

Dzeko was a good decision i think as he has been scoring lately..

..its really not working for City in the Champions League!!

1-0 Real. Ronaldo.

Not really necessary to put Ronaldo, it's kind of assumed when you mention Madrid score :sly: which they did 3 more times, running out 4-1 winners against Ajax. Probably going to get 18 points again this year.

Arsenal continue to hit the sweet spot, winning again with Gervinho helping. Glad he's turned up this season, good player. Arsenal winning the group and City 3rd as it stands. Dortmund should have battered them, lucky to escape with a draw.

Puyol had a dislocated elbow in the game last night, and it has horrific, poor guy.

I was traveling back to the US from Portugal. Was very close to going to see the Benfica x Barcelona match with my sister, but sadly never panned out. 2-0 Barca win and the classico should be easier this weekend due to no Puyol. Horrible injury, just unlucky too after coming back from an injury and that happens.

In other news, my Porto won 1-0 to PSG at home, so I'm very happy with that result!! James scored a real nice one. We had lots of opportunities too from new signing Jackson and LW Varela. Varela's sub, Atsu, even almost scored. I have a good feeling about Porto advancing out of the group stage in 1st place now!!

Real Madrid did exactly as I thought they'd do, beat Ajax in fashion. 4-1 with another hat trick by pretty boy Ronaldo!

SL Benfica lost 2-1 to Spartak Moscow in Russia. Ouch... 1 point, dead last in group after 3 games. I seriously thought my rival club would easily walk out in at least 2nd place. Looks like they might not even make it through!!!

I wonder how well Celtic will play against Barcelona now.

Soon coming up also is Braga x Man United. Go Braga!!!

I don't believe this. Braga score in the second minute courtesy of Osorio Alan :grumpy:

Chelsea are also 1-0 down thanks to Alex Teixeira.

EDIT: I don't ****ing believe this. Braga 2-0 up now.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Better believe it, they are 2-0 down, with Alan with the goal again. Seems like defending is just a fundamental issue for them this season.

I know. I'm not actually watching it, I have BBC Sport open and Radio 5 live. Where is Carrick playing at the moment? Because if he is playing in Midfield, we are practically playing 3-4-3. We haven't got Ferdinand playing either because of the Kick it out thing.

Carrick is sort of in a CDM position, as he seems to be doing a fair bit of defending. So it is basically a 3-4-3 set up, with a lot of holes in. Not promising at all.

Though Hernandez has scored at least!

Definitely not good. And I've found that I can watch it on ITV website so I don't have to listen to 5 Live's vague reports. Good news on the goal as well.

Well the commentary seems to indicate more of a diamond formation with that 3-4-3. It seems to be working more as the half is finishing at least.

Oh, and Celtic are winning vs Barcelona! Mascherano own goal. That would be a result

Celtic are beating Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Certain theories about how the universe works will have to be rethunk if it stays that way. Also, there will be carnage on the streets of Glasgow this evening.

It'll be worth it though. Barca always winning makes the game boring. Them and Real. Pretty much the two reasons why I don't like La Liga that much, and love the Champions League.

Celtic are looking really good in the Champions league this year with a late winner against Spartak Moscow last week and today, winning in Barcelona.

EDIT: I guess I was too slow typing.

I've always, always preferred Rangers out and out, but I have to say; I feel bad for Celtic.

Same. They held on the whole match only to lose in stoppage time. Also, why has this thread been quiet tonight?

Because Celtic were the only team to make tonight's games anyway interesting...

How the hell did Chelsea lose to Donetsk? Just looked up the stadium and it's a grass pitch? Are Donetsk that good or just a bad Chelsea team/performance?

3-2 in a rather poor performance really.

Good day for Hernandez and Nani. Evans also was good today.

But top of the group with 9 points is still a good achivement.

Maybe most shocking result today, was Nordsjælland 1 - 1 Juventus! :dunce:

So proud of my team.

Yet so broken inside.

No worries, See you in 2 weeks barca ;)

Javier Hernandez <3

Didnt think the performance 2nd half was bad at all, I think after we got the goal 1-2 and Fergie got the hair dryer out at half time all was up hill from there 👍

It couldn't get much worse though, could it? ;)
