Indeed. Totally unexpected. The Man City players must have enjoyed Amsterdam too much.

Málaga winning, Ajax winning, Manchester City losing, Real Madrid losing. Everything is going better than expected. :)

Sooooo
Ajax 3 - 1 Man city
Arsenal 0 - 2 Schalke
Malaga 1 - 0 AC Milan
B.Dortmund 2 - 1 Real Madrid

.......WOW!!!!!!!!

Kun je het geloven?

What a great result for Ajax! Get. In. There.

Auf geht's Dortmund!

What an amazing group. Who'd have thought those two would be the ones getting the results?

Very good result for Ajax. Stunning!

Also Dortmund had a good win against Real Madrid. Exiting round. :dopey:

If Ajax can keep this up, the rest of the matches will be very exciting to watch!

Feels good to say outside of United, Celtic had by far the most impressive result out of teams in the UK.

:D

I missed the games yesterday but I caught the end of the Barcelona game on Tuesday, since all the games are 5-7 hours ahead I can only see the last twenty minutes at best.

Sorry but as a united fan I have to say a big hahahahahaha to city, but on a serious. Note it will take city a few seasons to get used to champions league football. It is totally different than the premier league and it does take time to adjust.

I know I'm late, but uuhhhh.... AJAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JODEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) 020 for life!! :P There got that out.... Finally they manage to beat a big club in the CL. Surprising result to say the least.

As a United fan i find their misfortune in this competition in the last 18 months absouletly bloody hilarious!!

Welcome to the big league boys!!!

Porto, Barcelona and Manchester United are the only teams left out of the 32 teams in the CL with a perfect record, max points after just 3 games. Both Barcelona and Man United almost lost their 3rd games too!

Real Madrid lost and for some reason I expected a tie as a worst case scenario but being that the club last won on German soil in 2000... it's not a surprise.

Man City, wow... go Ajax! lol

Shame about Braga. Up 2-0 at Old Trafford just to lose it all and lose 3-2. Would have been amazing for them.

You forgot the most impressive team in the whole damn competition.

9 Points
7 Goals
0 Conceded

Oh crap you're right! I forgot about Malaga!! So 4 of 32 teams then.

Malaga's in some good form right now. 3rd place in La Liga and perfect record in CL group stage. They need the money too.

So the best club competition in the world is back tonight after a two week break!

Big games for the two english clubs, Arsenal away to Schalke...and a MASSIVE game for Man City at home to Ajax..if City lose they are out!

Well in that case cckkk'mon Ajacccccccccckkkkkkxxxxxx (Scouse accent)

I had a funny Champions League related incident occur on Sunday evening...

I was watching the Liverpool game with a couple of mates, and during an ad break, Sky were advertising the Celtic v Barca game tomorrow night... they featured a clip of Neil Lennon celebrating wildly (presumably after Celtic scored in the previous game) and I thought to myself "How weird must he feel to see himself on the TV like that when he's in the pub watching the football?"... I turned around to say that to my mate and who was standing 5 feet away watching the TV but Neil Lennon... it's not that much of a coincidence, since he is usually in my local, but it was still quite bizarre timing!

Wow.  That is pretty strange!

Also, predictions for tonight:
BVB 3 - Real 2
City 1 - Ajax 1
Arsenal 0 - Schalke 3
AC 0 - Malaga 2

PUN WATCH

Adrian Chiles has already dropped in two Ajax puns... firstly, he 'accidentally' called them 'A-jacks' before quickly correcting himself to 'Aye-ax'... and now he made a weird comment about Man City being 'abrasive' in attack... I am guessing there will be atleast one reference to 'scouring/scour' or 'shine', 'clean', 'polish' before the night is through...

 Oh wow. Thats me out. :dunce:

I would love a shock Touring, I really would. Regardless, the experience will be un-matched. So glad I queued for 3 hours getting tickets in September. 👍

EDIT: My predictions were a joke of course. :P Arsenal 1 up

Cool, you're going to the game? Nice one 👍

If Celtic win, take it easy on the beers afterwards, as I can see things getting quite Messi.

Yup, managed to score tickets for all 3 games 2 months ago!

They are indeed buckling under the pressure. Couple of minutes to go.

Pfeew, offside goal for City. But no one was offside. Still 2-2.

End of game. Balotelli demands a penalty. Doesn't get it. And City goes nuts. Good job Ajax. 👍
