Porto, Barcelona and Manchester United are the only teams left out of the 32 teams in the CL with a perfect record, max points after just 3 games. Both Barcelona and Man United almost lost their 3rd games too!
Real Madrid lost and for some reason I expected a tie as a worst case scenario but being that the club last won on German soil in 2000... it's not a surprise.
Man City, wow... go Ajax! lol
Shame about Braga. Up 2-0 at Old Trafford just to lose it all and lose 3-2. Would have been amazing for them.
I had a funny Champions League related incident occur on Sunday evening...
I was watching the Liverpool game with a couple of mates, and during an ad break, Sky were advertising the Celtic v Barca game tomorrow night... they featured a clip of Neil Lennon celebrating wildly (presumably after Celtic scored in the previous game) and I thought to myself "How weird must he feel to see himself on the TV like that when he's in the pub watching the football?"... I turned around to say that to my mate and who was standing 5 feet away watching the TV but Neil Lennon... it's not that much of a coincidence, since he is usually in my local, but it was still quite bizarre timing!
Here are my predictions for those games and also the United game tomorrow:Wow.![]()
That is pretty strange!
Also, predictions for tonight:
BVB 3 - Real 2
City 1 - Ajax 1
Arsenal 0 - Schalke 3
AC 0 - Malaga 2
City 1 - Ajax 1
City 0 - Ajax 2
Celtic 0 Barca 0/1...can't decide![]()
City 1 - Ajax 1
Oh wow. Thats me out.
I would love a shock Touring, I really would. Regardless, the experience will be un-matched. So glad I queued for 3 hours getting tickets in September. 👍
EDIT: My predictions were a joke of course.Arsenal 1 up
Cool, you're going to the game? Nice one 👍
If Celtic win, take it easy on the beers afterwards, as I can see things getting quite Messi.
